I wish they would devote their time trekking for worthy causes such as eradicating the sickening poverty and alarming illiteracy in the North. How about trekking against Boko Haram? Since Nigeria gained independence, the North has produced almost all the rulers we have ever had, yet that region still remains an eye sore. I am not even going to talk about all the Niger Delta oil resources that have been sunk into the North yet, nothing to show for it. Lord have mercy on Nigeria.

@Good morning, Yes, the north is very backward and let’s be realistic, Buhari isn’t going to change decades of neglect, poverty, illiteracy and ignorance- when I was in primary school in the north, hausa girls always came bottom of the class and were regularly pulled out of school into early marriage- no wonder the north is so backward- all down to the failure of northern leadership

I didn’t even see d use of d attention and accolade awarded the 1st person dat did it.i didn’t see any sense in that cos I know dat d northerners wnt rest on dat issue everybody will start doing it which is senseless. We have a lot happening in dis country that needs our attention in order to address them and not such rubbish flooding our news sources with such annoying distractions mscheeeew

But y are some Hausa people so foolish like this? Coz someone did dis nonsense and was recognized by d president elect, so d rest of them are now thinking it’s a source of livelihood. I dey laff dis woman cos she won’t get any reward, not even panadol to cure d swollen feet and body pains she will b left with after her trekking. And Buhari should pls address dis madness and tell these idiots to stop trekking for him. We have had enough already.

BN PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE,enough already!!! Not everything,is news! This is down right irritating, disgusting and very very annoying. I am personally sick and tired, drained and exhausted from hearing this highly irrelevant piece of valueless information, that has absolutely no economic, moral or social importance to me. All this trekking has neither put food on tables, given light, improved the fuel scarcity nor provided the funds to pay the marketers!! What manner of gross idleness is this?! To,what purpose anyway?! BN,please e do!! Ah-ah!

I dont think these trekkers come to bella naija and other blogs to read comments before they embark on whatever tickles their fancy. The reality is people would do what they feel they need to do to attract opportunities into their lives. Nigeria is already a difficult place to price out opportunity so any leverage would count as an advantage, even if for photo or tea opportunity. At least she is trending and she has your attention and that of people who might need to engage her tomorrow for one thing or the other. One step in the right direction for her i suppose. She is not foolish, she is a risk taker.

Don’t just sit down there, ensconced in the comfort of an enclosure, probably on a static revolving chair and computer and condemn people doing things despite the perceived hazards, You cannot claim to love her than herself. I’m sure by the time she gets to her destination should would have learnt more on the road and become even more aware about her environment than you are. Nigeria is Oyingbo market, it doesn’t know who was absent. Free her jor

At least this is realistic. Mr President elect all of these people trekking for your victory are all showing that there is one area in which Nigeria needs help and that is unemployment rate . I really doubt that if they were very occupied with jobs, they would leave them and trek because u won election. Pls do sumtin really fast.
