Boko Haram on Sunday abducted six civilians and killed four others in at the outskirts of Nwajurko village in Damboa local government area of Borno State.

The victims were travelers, and the terrorists attacked them on a quiet highway, Leadership reports.

An eyewitness civilian-JTF account of the incident states:

“When we mobilised and got to the spot where the ambush attack was carried out, we were surprised to meet four corpses, of which we later learnt from a local farmer who viewed the incidents while hiding in the bushes, that the terrorists later returned to ambush another vehicle, a mini bus, and shot dead three persons while other passengers were forced away. So we believe more than five persons may have been taken away by the insurgents since the mini bus described by the farmer always conveys 12 passengers.”
