72nd Venice Film Festival Kicks off with an Opening Ceremony and ‘Everest’ Premiere

The 72nd Venice Film Festival has officially kicked off!
This year there are 21 films in competition and they include “The Danish Girl” with Eddie Redmayne, “Beast of No Nation’ with Idris Elba and more.
Some movies will be screened out-of-competition including “Black Mass” with Johnny Depp, “Spotlight” with Michael Keaton and more.
We have quite a number of stars to look out for in the week-long festival. The 72nd Venice film festival runs 2-12 September.
The first day and opening ceremony was kicked off yesterday with a premiere of “Everest” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Keira Knightley.
On the panel of juries this year are Elizabeth Banks, Diane Kruger, Paz Vega and many more.
