Today, we are looking at the suave and beautiful TV personality, Zainab Balogun in Nigerian designer, Mai Atafo.

Mai Atafo is arguably The Name when it comes to menswear in Nigeria. His ability to create well-tailored functional clothes for his male clientele is 2nd to none. But he doesn’t just limit his genius to menswear alone, he also does wedding pieces under his ‘Weddings by MAI‘ sub-brand, and womenswear.

With a label that started well over 5 years ago, the brand’s designer – Ohimai Atafo, has created collection after collection of bespoke clothing that have ruled runways, and red carpets, not to mention dozens of weddings in Nigeria, the USA and beyond.

At the 2015 Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week, we got a taste of more Mai. His collection for Spring/Summer 2016 was tailored greatness, and celebrities seem to love loving his pieces.

A few days ago, Heineken hosted a premiere for the new James Bond movie – ‘Spectre‘ in Nigeria, and had some major personalities like Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Mo Abudu & more attend. Also in attendance was TV star, Zainab Balogun.

Zainab dressed for the occasion in a tailored jumpsuit by Mai Atafo, which features overlapping lapels that flow into a halter neck, a cinched waist band and flowing legs. We think she would make a fab Bond Girl. See more images below;
