Funny video. I love Nigerian parents. They discourage their children ( ahem daughters) from dating. I even know some that pressure their daughters to “focus” on Master’s degrees and forget about men. As soon as you complete that Master’s or turn 25 (whichever comes first), they will start pushing you to hurry and marry. Do men fall from the sky?

They will say you should not date, but when you enter your mid twenties they will start asking for your spouse. The person go fall from sky?

My dear….SOOO TRUE!!! I have been dodging my aunties for almost a year now. I prefer to send a text message to them rather than call to check up…coz i know exactly what they’ll say.
Mummy will say go for wedding and bring program for me to keep 🙁 see me see wahala o! she will say …errm i liked their colors, and the way they did the jotters..maybe you can do yours like that. ….lemme not get too old to dance before you do it o! HIAH!!!

Then one day i said…i wanna have a small wedding one day. She said WHAT? after i have eaten other peoples own, contributed for gifts, bought expensive aso-ebi, ….now you are saying what? Please, dont even mention it! ……SMH!

She has a one track mind. For a media personality I was expecting her vlogs to encompass many different topics, but it always come back to men for her. Aw well, best to discuss what you know and are passionate about in life, if it is men for her, then so be it.

Awww, poor Toke! She was once queen of all media but now she is struggling to stay relevant. Damn girl

Typical toke vlogs will amass like 50 comments minimum…..2days later and its only 15 comments from peeps dat didnt watch the video. Smh

Its always a bad idea to suffocate the general public with ur life!

Some people you like, some you don’t like. Just know not everyone is going to like you too.

I like Toke. Her mannerism makes me laugh!

What is it? Leave her alone and let her do what she is doing. For those abusing her, what have you achieved? Yes things happen but until you marry you will not understand what happens in marriage. We all have struggles; so she should put her life on hold because her marriage is going through a phase? Please let her be. Yes she is so correct about the pressure to be married which I wonder if it is necessary. Just be praying; there is no need to bother either your son or daughter to be married. It is not the most important thing in life; God gives families and will do so in His time. Stop giving numbers to pastors thereby exposing your families. The same people you give will talk about you and use it even when it is uncalled for. Just pray to God; He still gives families.
