The alleged $2 billion arms deal fraud investigation is getting more interesting.

Former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa has reportedly denied receiving any part of the money from Dasuki.

However, according to Vanguard, it has been stated that Dasuki gave him the sum of N4.6 billion “for spiritual purposes.”

The exact “spiritual purposes” the money was used for, are yet to be revealed.

One of Bafarawa’s aides, Alhaji Akibu Dalhatu, told newsmen: “We have seen deliberate falsehoods published in the newspapers and social media platforms, designed deliberately to tarnish the image and person of Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa. Some of the writers and media outfits have access to Governor Bafarawa and his media advisers. It would appear that the media is being used to play out a script that has been written long before now.”

GEJ and Okonjo cannot be exonerated from this messy mess.. So much stealing went on under his/their watch.
Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda. was also fingered, while NOI was the Minister of Finance while this was ongoing.

EFCC should invite the duo of Okonjo and GEJ.
