Rukky Sanda, could your reasons for being at this party be more obvious?? smh. Didnt even realize she was the one sitting by Idris with Toolz hiding her face on the othe side.
So this is what you actually look like with no filters and the rest? Darnit! Bleaching is a b!t!h. Say no to bleashinggg. You now look like all these razz bleaching soap sellers in Lagos island. Its not too late to go back to your natural state. Just go buy shea cocoa butter, it will help.

Idris seemed really relaxed around Toolz. Even on IG, he wasn’t smiling in a lot of the pictures with other celebs, just Toolz. She just has something about her that is oh so loveable.

Per the movie, it’s definitely a good one to watch.

Why does Emma Nyra look like a chronic “sarewagba”? Hasn’t this babe ‘waxed’ a couple of records already? Even 100level girls just getting into the nightclub culture are doing better than this these day…Babygirl check yasef before you wreck yasef…find another career or is it carrier now…

Ofcourse if it’s a Hollywood production they will come out in droves. But for them to put half as much effort into they productions, they wouldn’t. This is a movie that could have been made in Nigeria very easily on a budget of a $1ook sef… but this mumu’s would rather spend on shopping sprees to Dubai and London for instagram pics, than to invest in themselves. Mtcheeeww

BTW, what is Yvonne Ekwere wearing.. 😕

    • linda

      December 14, 2015 at 7:34 pm

It was shot in Ghana for 6 million dollars oo. That director Cary Funku whatever his name is and Idris Elba don’t come cheap oo

    • observer

      December 15, 2015 at 1:31 am

Budget is not an excuse. Go watch films made by other African countries and, you’ll be blown away by their storytelling. Watch Lamb, Run or Timbuktu to mention a few. All these films are way better than every film Nigeria has been making for the last ten years. Half of a yellow Sun was shot for 8million dollars with Chiwetel and Thandie. Did they don’t come cheap? Nigerian filmmakers make, at best, watchable films no matter our budget. It is very sad.

    • observer

      December 15, 2015 at 1:32 am

      Did they come cheap?

    • californiabawlar

      December 15, 2015 at 9:36 am

Observer….you aint ever lied. I’m a big fan of Nollywood…but you’re right, our big movies are watchable at best! Look at all the movies making noise now….Fifty and Road to Yesterday….they are still on top man and woman matter. Smh!! In such a complex society as ours….with so many rich angles to explore, from our history (ancient and recent), to police brutality, to even Nepa wahala (that one will be comedy). Imma continue with political shenanigans (military juntas, house of assembly fights….realistic ones…not all these Senator Pariolodo’s son must marry Governor Jinadus’s daughter)….and even medical malpractice and healthcare? A movie that scratches more than the surface….no be all these mama no get money for surgery, bobo go join arm robbery gang…lol. something that addresses the problems….maybe from a Drs point of view for once.
What about biopics?! Abacha? Abiola? IBB? Obasanjo? Fela? Sunny Ade? My favorite of them all Ojukwu?
My most recent bittersweet story is the events that played out at the hospital that helped us contain ebola….how is it, a great producer hasn’t bought into that by now?! I mean, the survivor accounts (esp the Dr. and the fiance) read like movies….these are stories worth sharing with the world. The buildup….The event….The aftermath. I remember the Dr talking about being told she was ebola free…and having to be shower sprayed with disinfectants and couldn’t bring anything with her….omg! imagine that scene in a movie? So many lifes will be touched.
We have an inexhaustible well to fetch from…..but no, we siddon dey lazily dey dwell on man and woman matter that largely played out even in Hollywood.
Well made movies that explore these areas IN DEPTH….will be oscar winning material.

Gosh! I was so moved by the movie. Idris Elba really made me hate his character! That’s the effect an Actor should have. And Abraham Attah as Agu, the boy, played his role sooooo well! Had to hold myself from crying throughout the movie. It’s always good to come back to reality & see the Actors as themselves, in pictures, so I can see them in a normal light because I was very disturbed what Idris did to Agu in the film. Felt sad all night & the next morning. Lol. Great movie!

On another note- is that Madam Ngozi’s husband? Seriously, please tell me he’s not—What manner of coat (not suit) is that. With all the billions she was approving, so not even 70,000 naira can be spent on a Mai Atafo suit. Now i know fashion sense is an inborn talent

I was there just to stalk Idris, and he seemed to be mainly there to talk to her. I think they knew each other before….and I didn’t see Mr Demuren anywhere around!! With the way she has crushed so hard on Idris, he will just steal her away with his ‘innit innit’ accent. Captain take note ooo
