Ghana’s President John Mahama, has banned public officials from first class air travel as part of efforts to curb wasteful spending.

According to Vanguard, the new reform comes as Ghana prepares to hold presidential and parliamentary elections next year and, with the opposition accusing government ministers of inflating contract sums, inappropriate spending is sure to be a top campaign issue.

The presidency issued the directive this week, also asking all ministers and other top officials to avoid “unwarranted” foreign trips ‘on the public purse.’

Too little too late, JDM. You should ban your brother from government projects too.

That’s the spirit. Wish Cameroon would emulate such actions. Shame on the presido of Camer. These steps are referred to as Magulification following the steps of Tanzania’s presido.

Please, if Cameroon emulated Ghana and our president, your coffers would be empty. Money would be spent on rebranding buses and judgement debt. You are better off emulating someone else.
