It’s Finally Here! The #GloCAFAwards2016 is Holding Tonight in Abuja with Omawumi, Salif Keita, D’Banj & More

Tonight, all roads lead to the International Conference Centre, Abuja, where the new king of African football will br crowned. The annual Glo CAF Awards, sponsored by Globacom is holding tonight and there is a lot of excitement in the air.

Top sports administrators and government functionaries from different parts of the world have started arriving in Abuja for the ceremony, which will be presided over by the acting President of FIFA and President of Confederation of African Football, Alhaji Issa Hayatou.

Top acts expected to entertain guests and VIPs at the event include Salif Keita, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Awilo Longomba, Stukas, Nouvelle Generation, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr (Shatta Wale), Ahmed Soultan and Sammie Leigh Bush Jnr.

 That’s not all – some of the biggest stars in Nigeria are also lined up to light up the evening. They include D’Banj, Korede Bello, Di’Ja, Bez Idakula, Omawumi, Ego ‘Sweet Voice’ Ogbaro and King Sunny Ade. – all of which are Globacom Ambassadors!

The event will be hosted by duo – Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim, and Glo CAF returnee host, South African sports journalist Robert Marawa.

The event will be broadcast live on AIT, Canal 2 and Sport 5 by 9PM today.

    Bellanaija, which is Canal 2 and Sport 5 and is it 9am or 9pm. I think it holds at night not morning
