Rihanna releases the Official Theme Song for ‘Star Trek: Beyond’ | Listen to “Sledgehammer” on BN

Calling all Star Trek fans, this one is for you. Rihanna has released the theme song for the up-coming Star Trek movie, “Star Trek Beyond”.

The “Work” singer shared the news on her Instagram page with the caption “As a Star Trek fan, I am honored to have the theme song for the new @StarTrekMovie! Hear #SLEDGEHAMMER now on @TIDAL and @itunes”.

The Sia-penned song is definitely a different direction from the “Work” singer’s latest singles and album “Anti”, in-fact it sort of reminds us of “Diamonds” another Sia-penned song but you be the judge, listen below.

The song has also been featured in the latest Star Trek Beyond trailer which premiered Monday morning.
