Kene Rapu, owner of Kene Rapu an indigenous footwear brand with all products produced here in Nigeria. In this video, Kene is sharing her journey and experiences with Diamond TV‘s The SME. From sourcing materials, managing staff to challenges as an entrepreneur in Nigeria,

“Being an entrepreneur has not been easy at all I feel like sometimes its often glamourised, I’m an entrepreneur I work for myself, but it’s not an easy path to go down.”

Kene Rapu is giving us an honest insight into what it’s like to be an entrepreneur ending the interview with some advice,

“When you’re passionate about something you put your all into it” and it’s fulfilling to see the growth. “If you want instant gratification then perhaps being an entrepreneur is not for you but otherwise if you’re thinking long term, then start now.”
