The Mystery Performer has been Revealed! Rapper Future to Perform at MTV Africa Music Awards 2016




Award-winning Rapper and MAMA 2016 nominee (Best International Act) Future is set to perform at MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg 2016.

Following his performance at the MAMA award show, as a bonus for fans Future will stage an extra live performance, reprising fan favourites from throughout his recording career from “Turn on the Lights”, to “Same Damn Time” and “Stick Talk”.

Commented Alex Okosi, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa,

Future has an amazing fan following in Africa and we are delighted that he will make his African performance debut on the MAMA 2016 stage in Johannesburg on 22 October.”

Future joins previously announced African performers Diamond, Emtee, Kwesta, Patoranking Alikiba, Babes Wodumo, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Ycee and Yemi Alade.

    the hottest rapper in the game in the us is future for the last 2 years, hence the need for drake to do a joint album with him to capture the “street” again and therefore the need to bring him to the awards.the average urban club in the us will play at least 5 of his songs in prime time( btw 1am and 2am), not counting the other other songs played before and after.Yes, he has a following in africa (nija,sa).Not a fan though, but this is just facts.

      Lol hottest where? ?. Hottest in the YS music industry has nothing to do with us. They should have put their money on someone better.

      His fan base is not big here considering we have really good rappers this side.
