WATCH Kayode Fayemi Speak on FG’s Plan to Diversify into Mining
The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi in this exclusive interview with CNBC AFRICA‘s Onyi Sunday, outlined the Federal Government’s plan to diversify into mining.
The minister said that the Nigerian Mining space is probably the most business friendly of all the sectors because irrespective of the recession, the sector, together with Agriculture sector experienced growth.
“One of the things that really worries investors is the enforcement of our own laws. If we say that a license is available for five years as an exploration license and you don’t do anything in that space, you ought not to retain such a license,” the minister said.
