King Sunny Ade @ 70! Check out his Dapper New Photos



Ahead of his grand 70th birthday concert on December 11 tagged, ‘Sunny On Sunday’, a fresh set of photos of Nigerian music icon, King Sunny Ade have been released.

The very stylish photos, taken by  Logor, were released by talent management and event company, Temple Management Company, and portray a side of the juju maestro that has never been seen before.

KSA pulled off varying looks and donned a bespoke suit, regal Agbada and even had time to look leisurely in tracksuits.

      Big Tee – another big hit. You can jump, sway and rock to it. Gives me goosebumps everytime.

    Happy birthday KSA. My favourite is E KILO FUN OMODE. It was a song about his travail in the 70s when he fell out with his record label. It was an action packed song of abuse, threat, incantation and his all round prowess as a gifted singer. Once again, happy birthday Sir.

    Happy birthday King Sunny Ade. My father used to play his music a lot when we were growing up, and the one that struck me the most was the one he sang after the death of Simbiatu, Abiola’s wife – sorrowful yet beautiful track, i still remember it.
