God bless you for speaking up. Prosterity will never forget you and the role you played in bringing peace and enlightenment to the youth.

I never knew tubaba is this eloquent.

Nigerian youths!! Speaking up is not a crime. Let us be united in love not in bigotry, ethnicity or religion.

Nigeria is one of the blessed nations in the world. One love…

As far as I am concerned Tuface is not credible. When he was rubbing shoulders with Akpabio who we all know stole billions and help to land the country in this mess, he didn’t arrange a protest then. Obviously, Akpabio is sponsoring this nonsense.

You that you are credible now, please organise your protest let us come out and support. We sit doing nothing and when someone remotely tries we start to form moral police… As bad as it is now in Nigeria, even if Goodluck Jonathan organises a protest I will go …. This is coming from someone that did not just vote for PMB but also campaigned for him and earns 6 figures (which is fast becoming paper btw).. go figure…

It is a very good idea to protest with popular people like tuface in the forefront. I only have one question, when you were collecting Prado jeep from Akpabio as a wedding gift, did you bother to think about the source of the money? We are all responsible for our present situation. Protest should also be directed to our senate house, corrupt judiciary and extremely wicked governors. When we rid these set of people off their corrupt acts by demanding accountability, you will see a major difference in our society. You cannot enjoy immediate prosperity after 60 years of waste and continuous plundering of our economic common wealth.

      January 31, 2017 at 9:29 pm

Abeg abeg abeg loss with your question at this inappropriate time. We are talking hardship/hunger protest, you are asking nonsense. You should have asked this question years ago when tubaba wedded.

And even if it’s true Akpabio gifted him a prado, and you are so sure it’s Akwa ibom state money, is it 2face that took government money from the coffers?
Or has Apkabio been indicted and prosecuted? Has Buhari returned the jeep allegedly gifted to him by the previous government?

Thank you 2baba and the rest for lending your voice to a good cause. As for the sponsored saboteurs, may your life continue the way Nigeria has become under Buhari. As for blackface we all know your career is dead, your jealousy will soon choke you dead. You showed today what you really are. Shame on you! 2face is way above you. #WeWillProtest

Buhari is entitled to the vehicle as an ex-president. Tuface should have morally rejected such gift from a seating governor that boasts of giving people 1 million make for Mr Bigs. Furthermore, if you read my post, you will see that I corroborated that the protest is good. The problem with people like you is that you believe that any statement made that does not criticize the presidency completely means that the person is in bed with them. The protest need to be extended to the corrupt senators seating on a budget of #150 billion Naira and governors that have rendered civil servants useless. It is a shame that we are hungry, however if you don’t build local capacity for food self sufficiency, scenarios like this will continue to happen when our currency becomes weakened for importation. Everything is expensive because we import 80 percent of everything we use in the country. The minute we realize that there is no easy way out of our present economic problem, we will be able to separate our emotions from facts and get to work to make this country better.

      February 1, 2017 at 11:46 am

@Nene+, it’s funny that most of you online warriors don’t even live in Nigeria or have the guts to even come out for the protest. You are hungry because your country runs an import based economy which is not sustainable when the local currency weakens. There is no magic about the fall of the Naira, CBN since time immemorial pegs the Naira to the dollars and continously defends its value or pegged rate. Unfortunately, you need to have enough foreign exchange to continue this model which the country lacks. When there is a drastic fall in oil prices and production is cut to the bare minimum by militancy, the economy won’t fare well. Most of you online warriors were feeling elated when the Niger delta avengers were causing havoc thinking it will hurt the government but now you realize we are the one to bear the brunt.

I hope most of you are protesting because you feel concerned and not because this is an avenue to display your stored hatred towards the government. At least Fayose is now joining the protest! the problem becomes pronounced when evil governors start to feel they can even be seen as upright to protest.

@Ade unrepentant lots! Sai baba till rest in peace! Till you diminish in hunger! Why didn’t you march against Akpabio and Tuface?

Have you bothered to know that Buharis daughters who got married last year got humongous number of car plus very expensive gifts from governors,SGF,and thieving politicians? Zhara Buhari the daughter of a pretentious frugal Buhari now adorns Birkins Bag at what price? . Keep defending the indefensible at your detriment. Go and read Cisi Eze confessions.

I don’t blame Ade, that is Yoruba for you. neither here nor there.

    • Ade

      February 1, 2017 at 11:53 am

Nene+, see above for my response to you. In regards to the presidents daughter, it’s common knowledge that the husband is wealthy, the source of the wealth is another topic. I don’t need to read any statement from no one, anybody can go online and put anything there, we all choose to believe it or not if it fits our narrative. In recent history, Zahra’s wedding has been the most modest I have seen from a sitting president and I guess the husband is rich enough to buy her the bags you mentioned.

@Ade, your character is questionable. You are a thief. Anyone who sees nothing wrong with governance in present day Nigeria is a thief. If l could travel to Nigeria, l would. But my present condition will not permit that. Afterall, my family flew into Nigeria and we voted. Did you vote?

God bless you too 2Face for championing this. I am so glad he came across eloquently and detailed too. Shame on people who think he would not be able to express himself.

I would have loved that this protests led by a someone else not tuface. I see some very corrupt and disgruntled politicians that are no longer “running things” to be behind this. After all tuface benefitted immensely from their rape and loot of this country. Was it not a past governor that bankrolled tuface’s wedding even sending a huge number of Annie’s friend to Dubai? Was one of tuface’s album etc not sponsored by ita giwa? I guess the recession and baba bubu’s clamp on their reckless impunity is really biting hard. As much as I know that I would be massacred by tufaces’ voltrons here, a part of me agrees to a professors opinion that due to tufaces sexcapades and philandering fathering children here and there, he has no moral justification to stand and critique someone else on leadership
    and character.

I have big respect for 2baba. He’s a pioneer in the music industry and has managed to remain humble. Now he’s using his platform for a much needed positive change. I pray this protest goes well and the government wakes up.

Protest is a form of a democracy, anytime a peaceful protest is done no matter if you agree with the course or not ,it should be encouraged. Are you happy with Nigeria? with poverty? and suffering and smiling?

tubaba u are on point, Nigerian youth and every one should rise up with one voice to ask the fed gov. of our major right. it has become a tradition in this coutry that the fastest way to make money is to become a politician if u can manage to speak little, or become a thug for which they use to oppress the masses, these are series of court cases in this country of which top politicians like the senate president and other honourable s are involved, still they are in position of power making hopeless law for the country and milking the country all in the name of law makers. Governors becoming multi-billionaira after services and with big retirement benefit. The presidency should come out to tell every nigeria where this admin is leading us to, no job, no light, nothing is working in the country, please nigerian need fresh blood to come into position of power. Both christians and muslem rise up to fight this horror called the cabels irrespective of political party. Nigeria does not belong to a particular ruling class or cabals, we nigeria younth should all sign up for this protest so that the world will know what we are passing through, and use this midium to talk to the world what our leaders are turning us into, becoming educated in nigeria is just like signing up for slavry, poverty and beggers while thuggry is like having a phd certificate that will make u successfully. this is the right time to come out to tell our leaders that all they doing does not affect the people that put them in power positively..
