Purple is for you and me, six years and counting. Blunt, witty, regal, no filter whatsoever. And though we are still both on life’s platform eagerly waiting for ‘bae’, i’ll like the world to know that the love of my sister-friend keeps disillusion at bay.

Purple is signifies ROYALTY associated with nobility, creating and impression of luxury and extravagance and that’s the reason I call him MY KING’. Love at first sight, enchantment to my lover, the affection that transcends everywhere apart from God. Purple has power and a richness that demands respect. It exudes a form of dignity and which is appealing to others. A color that is attracted to beautiful is a color of the evolved soul. A powerful color that is related to spiritual attainment. Purple! I love??

My name is Mrs Oluwakemi N and this is my narrative of what the colour purple means to me.
Purple as a ‘colour’ has a vast array of meanings. Purple means Royalty, Power and Ambition.
My husband and I have a magical bond with each other and he always treats me like a queen. He pampers me with the little things which make our love grow day by day. We also aim for life’s pleasures through prayers, wisdom and determination to have a solid financial independence as a couple. My husband and I have joined hands to be creative in whatever situation we find ourselves.
We are also devoted to each other and are building our family up in a peaceful, calm and magical environment. I truly appreciate my husband for the dignity he puts in his work and business and for him being my support system in our marriage.

The colour purple has always been my favourite color which represents royalty and peace, .and this is a forefront element in my relationship. with my spouse. I see it as a sensational colour as it’s a combination of the calm stability of Blue and the stimulation of Red.
Purple represents wisdom, grandeur, dignity, devotion and peace.
Love is about respect, sacrifice, and uncondtional care and these key features align with the colour Purple.

    Thank you. .

Purple combines the subtleness of blue and the formidable energy of red which symbolises the stern yet calm way I and my fiancee feel about each other. To us, purple depicts how we are willing to fight the world for each other yet express our feelings in the most gentle and soothing way. To the world we are red ( we are strong, go to war for each other and come home undefeated). To each other we are blue ( we are gentle, vulnerable and share love in its pure, naked and shameless form). Purple also depicts royalty which to us, symbolises how I and a queen to my fiance and he, a king to me, regardless of how the world sees us.

I love the colour purple because of its derivatives especially lilac. I’m trying to picture it on someone special and I can just imagine how good it’ll look on him. Unfortunately, the forces of the universe won’t let us be together so I can’t really call him my significant other. It’ll still be fun to have a romantic getaway with him on Val’s day. I’m sure he would love that too. Why was I born with this genotype? If only……?

Purple is a color that I love very much. It signifies richness, royalty, passion and romance. My husband and I fell in love since 2010 and got married in 2012, its been almost 5 years of passion, romance and pure love. The color purple depicts the richness in our relationship, not because our relationship is devoid of challenges and hurdles but because we have been able to overcome those hurdles together creating a stronger bond between us. The color purple depicts our romance, our romance is subtle, yet fun…could be a simple wink at each other in the midst of a gathering, cuddling up to watch a late night movie at home…Purple symbolises royalty….My husband is my king and I’m his queen…we are royalty!

Purple is a flowery colour that dates back to the renaissance and middle ages, it is a colour rarely worn by ordinary people except for those from the royal house or ruling class, Purple can be achieved from a mixture of blue which symbolizes conviction, faithfulness, and bliss and red which represents special sensation, such as love, vivacity, passion, and desire. Blue and Red is considered beneficial to the mind and body; it is a colour of vanity, class poise and luxury. Some people refer to it as lavender while some call it violet, the richness of the colour makes it suitable for only aristocrats. It is a colour of perfection, royalty and unity.

Purple, the unique blend between Fierce red and Royal blue (the envy of other colours that are either too cold they go unnoticed or too hot they hurt) best describes us.
We are that right brew of hot and cold and we were lucky to have realized early that at both extremes of the colour spectrum lie our individual strengths and weaknesses, but together we are that healthy team, together we are better. With him I learnt love, passion, respect, loyalty, honesty, patience, hard work and the power of appreciation (I know he will say the same).
There is me, there is him and there is purple in between.
