R.I.P feminism topic. Is that the only topic to discuss. Nigerians get creative. There are too many thought provoking things to discuss rather than being stuck on marriage and feminism topic.
What about men sit down to have honest, mature discussion on how to be better men, husbands and fathers.
Men talk about your own issues you guys deal with because the root of a lot of the cheating, beating up women needs to be addressed.

You do realise that for equality of the sexes to take place men have to play an active role right?
Feminism is as much about men as it is about women
It largely affects how men and women view and address each other in the society today across all aspects of life. Even affecting things like fidelity and domestic violence. So i really dont get your point here.

    To answer your question :
Whoever has the time should pound the yarn!
If the wife is at home, let her pound the yarn and vice versa.
It is inhumane for a woman to leave home very early in the morning, perhaps before her husband, due to the nature of her job, then come home to pound the yam , mind the kids, while the husband stretches out his feet to read newspapers, as if ,he is the only one gets tired from work.
Mind you these women contribute very much, sometimes more, financially ,mentally to the family. They infact drive their homes, by decisions they make! It is not a ferry tale, to say that women are nifty creatures!
Feminism is sort of saying treat me as a human being.

Feminism is saying, don’t deny me a scholarship, just because am a woman. This happened in my town. A scholarship scheme was launched , three girls came up on top but were denied, because they will grow up an be married elsewhere. They want a boy. Unfortunately, a boy came 4th and he did not even pass Jamb!
Now flip the coin and tell me why you will not be a feminist!
Feminist are not asking to be greater than men but to be treated equally as humans! !!!

I think the trio of men’s corner lit and killed this topic. (thanks to ‘new school’ vocals). Given the short period of the program, the discussion was very good and candid. I particularly love Andre’s contribution!
Like every other matter, people are bound to have diverse, extreme, mismatched & warped opinions.
Thanks, Andre, Ebuka, Mazino for this sweet episode.

I really like the women who commented in the clip. They got it right. We need equality for sure for all. Regarding religious influences, we need to truly understand that all religion on earth is man made, so it is a tool to manipulate peoples and their cultures.
It conclusion we should all be supportive and view each other as equals, Male, Female, str8, not str8., Light Skin, Dark skin, and the list goes on…..

    My 2 cents!!
