Hmm! He’s in Lagos and he went to Computer Village. You don’t think it’s a big deal that he’s around? Is it until he ends up in Aso Rock, that it’ll be a big deal?

Anyway, technological growth in an emerging market. Lots of potential.

Android a mobile OS developed by Google. I don’t know the split between users of Android and say for e.g iOS but I know it’s a huge market.

“For developers in Africa, Google Payments, which handles the activation of accounts used for payments made for content distributed on Google Play, only supports merchant registration for 2 countries; Egypt and Nigeria. This has forced developers to figure out workarounds that include selling their apps on other platforms like Amazon or registering accounts overseas.” (This was from a 2015 article.)

“Its a numbers games! Google, Facebook, Whats app etc reaction to markets are driven by numbers. Check the population of Egypt, 82.06 million and Nigeria 173.6 million people then compare that to Zim, 14.15 million of which less than 3 million actively use the internet. It’s business, you go and promote your business where you are going to likely get enough retains.”

“Nigerians have access to sell apps on Google play. The only African country.”

Despite the chaos of Nigeria and severe security warnings, he still braved it to visit, and even went into computer village. As they say a picture = a 1000 words. That he was in this place and not a luxury suite in some other safe country means you, Mon Cher/Ma Cherie crystaldrop, are sitting on a gold mine that those with foresight can see. Start mining!
