“I have no regrets and would never ever look back” – Lynxxx marks his 2nd Anniversary of Spiritual Rebirth

Music star Lynxxx took to his Instagram page today to mark the second year anniversary of his spiritual rebirth.

Posting a photo with today’s date on Instagram, he captioned:

On this day 2 Years ago (7.8.15) i had an encounter with the Holy Spirit ?that changed my life, perspective and overall my entire being Forever.

There has been growth, ups, downs, challenges, misconceptions, attacks, mocks, gossip, sowing, reaping, healing, manifestations, uncountable blessings and miracles on this journey in such a short period of time BUT one things for sure, i have no regrets and would never ever look back.
Im not perfect, would never be, still a sinner saved by grace, still struggle daily but would keep pushing this calling till my purpose is fulfilled on earth.
Ill keep making Music for those that love it (not gospel contrary to what many believe ?lol) and keep living a regular life in a God guided way but do me a favor today and say a prayer for me ? thats worth more than anything else.
God bless you all!

I don’t know what Lynxx is feeling like, but if truly you’re born again and the Holy Spirit is in you, that music he’s doing that he doesn’t want to call secular music will be the last thing on his mind, chose your battle now, it’s either you sing the devil’s music or you sing God’s music…. you can’t be in between…..

I only have two questions for you. Please where in the Bible did they mention anything about secular music? Secondly, where did you get your definition of secular music from? From a religious leader or from the Holy Spirit himself?

Most importantly, if his own version of the Holy Spirit has not told him to stop doing what he said doing, who then are you to come and be the assistant Holy Spirit, sitting here and judging?

Pls take several seats. As long as the music he’s making is not leading anyone to sin…then there’s nothing wrong.
The only music you listen to doesn’t have to be gospel before we know you’re a christian.
So it’s wrong to sing about one’s life experiences, sing unlewd love songs, etc.
Hope your children don’t sing nursery rhymes either.

Dear Lynxx……praying God gives you the graces you need to be a true follower of Christ. Remain blessed.

@Jaunty, the Christian walk is always a process that takes time. Time is required to completely give up sin, bad habits one by one, to walk with Jesus everyday. We learn, and grow into it. Not everyone has the grace to go cold turkey. But God is at work in us and is patient with us. Goodluck Lynxx!

      Sister kilagbe? Kileju? (Whatappin?) ?

Religious fanaticism is so entrenched in our culture as Nigerians. I just thank God the (New Testament) Bible doesn’t order the killing of infidels… omo! Islamic terrorism will be like child’s play in comparison to how Naija christians will be slaying.
Beyonce hand for oyinbo people wey teach us work… brainwashing toh bad.

Jaunty let Lynxx be… music is his life calling. Do not box him into your little space of what genre of music you think he should be doing now……He is taking his rebirth a step at a time. Be happy for a brother please…

“There’s joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than a thousand who need no repentance” Lynxx the journey is never easy but the step and declarations you have made are for the best.

@ELi, Does the holy spirit have another version? In as much as i am of the opinion that we dont rush him and let God do the total change in him; if he had an encounter with the Holy spirit, then there would be a total turn everything! However the Holy spirit would do the needful one step at a time..

I’m happy for you lynxx. However, the Holyspirit is God in us (in spirit). God will never lead anyone to do anything that doesn’t edify him or the people that’ll be affected by the act. So, I’m not going castegate your music (I haven’t even listened to any) but I’ll say, ask yourself-this music you’re doing, will Jesus do it? Let your honest answer propel you in the right direction.
