All these record labels trying to destroy an artiste’s career because he wants to start his own. It’s similar to a boss discrediting an employee because the employee resigns to start his own company or to join a competitor.

I wish Nigeria could pass a law preventing such record labels from putting certain clauses in their contracts that could harm an artiste in the future as most young artistes have little or no knowledge of contracts and end up signing their future away. But alas, this is Nigeria

Artistes should realise that getting 10% of 100 million naira from a record Label is still bigger than earning 100% of 1 million naira on your own. Upcoming artistes should please read and understand agreements before signing contracts, better still ask for legal advice because when you sign them, there is no going back. I bet you don’t wanna end up like Kiss Daniel, Brymo and Vector.
Na only De Gea fit save Kiss Daniel in the mess wey him enter.
