Ed Sheeran is Spotify’s Most Streamed Artist for 2017

Ed Sheeran was named by Spotify as the artist with most streams in 2017, racking up a total of 6.3 billion streams, Billboard reports.
His song “Shape of You” was also the most streamed song, with 1.4 billion streams, and his album “Divide” also the most streamed album, listened to a total of 3.1 billion times.
Drake and The Weeknd took the 2nd and 3rd spot respectively, with Kendrick Lamar and The Chainsmokers at 4 and 5.
On the songs list, Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” remix with Justin Bieber took 2nd place, while the original version was 3rd.
The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This,” and DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne, rounded off the top 5.
