Someone got me the album recently. So dope! I can’t even hate. Gospel music needs these guys. You can be cool and Christian!

Being COOL is NOT the clothes you wear, the dance you do or the fire beat and nice vocals. Being COOL to a TRUE CHRISTIAN…is having the HOLY SPIRIT AND BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT!

NO ONE CAN BEAT THAT KIND OF COOL!

I am going to look at this from a purely artistic perspective. Visuals dope, cinematography fantastic. Costumes well put together, vocals the first singer has an awesome voice her personality shines through she needs to explore a solo album she is a star already .
Every other thing is open for debate and I have my opinions but I choose to keep it to my self especially with the controversy surrounding the MOG and his various gaffes

That girl was in project fame. Can’t remember the season. She was the first to perform Rihanna’s Man Down on project fame.

When it comes to this church, I have learnt to keep an open mind, but churches need to do better at propagating the word and winning souls, the flamboyance to everything is totally unnecessary…

Pure entertaiment street in church. We cant use it for praise and worship. It will be good for their next yatch party in Iran. (those who worship GOD should worship him in spirit and truth). Come for me and have bad dreams. lol

What does spirit and truth mean? it means meaning what you say and saying what you mean. You people will be singing and dancing to secular music but spiritual songs because they sound groovy are giving you headache. There’s something wrong with you.

We need more of these guys. I’m a Christian and I want to groove to songs that give God glory and sound good too. If you have any more suggestions of good gospel songs please share.

    The song already is dope.

The beginning of the video looked promising. It raised our hope but couldn’t carry the wave and energy they made us expect. The video didn’t depict what the song was all about. complete show off. Nothing to hold unto.

The Holy Spirit in me did not connect with this song. There was no ministry. I woudnt have a problem with song (afterall no bad language or propagation of evil agenda) HOWEVER….for this to be classified as GOSPEL would be wrong. Its just a catchy beat. Thats all.

I highly doubt an unbeliever can hear this and come away thinking ” Oh my! GOD is great and worthy of my praise”.
They would most probably say ” oh my!! dope group!”

As far as im concerned..this song has NO LYRICAL CONTENT. A mumble jumble of words but nothing that reflected back to GOD and HIS GLORY.

Stop focusing on being COOL to win souls. To shows them CHRISTIANS ARE NOT BORING. loooool!! This has NOTHING to do with our MINISTRY. We praise God even when WE DONT FEEL LIKE IT…EVEN WITHOUT MUSIC…EVEN WITHOUT CATCHY BEATS..WHY? Because HE IS GOD, REGARDLESS.

Sigh. It just hurts my heart. Gods children …please….” FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD”. When i first came to Christ 4 years ago..i struggled to read my Bible so i started off listening to true gospel music and the Spirit behind the songs would move me to pick up that Bible…because the LYRICS WERE SCRIPTURES….AND IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL..I HAD TO READ IT FOR MYSELF!

    THAT IS GOSPEL MUSIC.

This is my OPINION. And I’m not afraid to SHARE IT.

Dope sound…it would be nice to listen to while driving or jogging. Christian alternative to the loud and regular Nigerian secular music, could barely pay attention to the lyrics (which is supposed to ‘minister’ I guess)…it was only Raba Raba I could hear clearly.
Shout out to Ogechi Kalu #shaggygirls, she was quite easy to spot.
I want to Raba Raba eh! ?

In the name of modernising the church, several traditions are being brought in but the acceptable and non acceptable… is this dancehall or choreography… it’s well.

Hip hop gospel is not off God……it is the devils grand plan to lead many to hell. even after about 13yrs of seriously attending church and being a follower of Christ, this was still okay by me not until God began to open my eyes that heaven AND HELL is as real as the next day. Although i still pray for churches like this, but never in my life time would i be part of churches like this again.

If only God will open peoples eyes and they see the marine spirits responsible for all this in the church……….most people would be sober for the rest of their lives.

Okay I’m so open minded my brain is almost falling out but this sat really badly with me. This isn’t gospel music. Why are Christians so desperate to look, act and sound like unbelievers? What’s the appeal? This isn’t being cool; it’s appropriation at It’s worst. I almost started twerking to this song; why shouldn’t I just listen to Nicki Minaj or Beyonce, since they’re trying so hard to be them? Calling Jesus in a song doesn’t gospel music make. Ask Tupac, Lady Gaga and yes even R Kelly…

All you have done is criticise and criticise.its your highly valued opinion afterall.those who relate will love it.you dont relate move along.you think you know exactly how a christian spirit filled song should be ?i plead with you to contact the church and tutor them and then produce them a video and song that would touch the spirit and heal people and convert atheists/unbelievers.if you do this God would know you are ACTIVELY wanting the advancement of his kingdom.till then DO MORE AND SAY LESS.
As for those asking for robust replies.this is it!can we rest now.now we wait for your robust replies of all the LIES,ABORTIONS,STEALING, TRUANCY CHEATING AND OTHER SINS YOU HAVE COMMITTED.HAVE A BLESSED DAY MY LOVELY PEOPLE!

@Legend- I won’t pretend to understand your incoherent rambling. But I’ll say this much “it didn’t sit well with ME”. I’m sure ur not so narcissistic to notice that I didn’t go to the comments of those who like it and start arguing with their opinion. If Raba Baba means something to you; good and fine. It means nothing to me. Bellanaija makes money out of clicks and comments. I’m helping their ministry by volunteering my own comment. Try not to get ulcer over my own starvation. Tenk you don’t menshun.

I heard this music first from another choir performing it and I was completely blown away. I didn’t fully understand the lyrics so I downloaded it ( which I think most of you should do). Then I understood it better and started singing and dancing to it. If you can’t see how this song would lead people to church and eventually to christ but you can see how a Wizkid and Davido’s song can lead you to a club then Smh…
More so this genre of music is not for everyone, if it does not rock your boat, jump it and pass.

I looove the song. I would rather play this at my child’s birthday party than play Lil Uzi /Nicki/Cardi B.
Not everytime Christians will pretend to be looking for what will slay them in the spirit (while comfortably listening to Nicki Minaj of course ?), sometimes Christians wanna dance and have fun too. Even the Bible says there’s a time for mourning and a time for rejoicing and I don’t see myself rejoicing with a hymn.
Gratitude Coza keep doing what you do, some of us appreciate your work.

Christians like to condemn each other my God, if you do not like the song simply move on….. look at that madam righteous writing epistle and even quoting scripture on top wetin she no get authority, there is no where I repeat no where in the bible where a format for gospel music is written. If you cant hear what they are saying simply download the lyrics. I love rap music, as a christian I appreciate these type of songs as they are clean and minister to my spirit, I take my time to learn the lyrics and sing, it is not for everybody pls, not all things are made to draw unbelievers.

The song is cool but i would have loved that the lyrics were more deeper spiritually than this.. i could not even make out the lyrics and it defeats the purpose of listening.. Words are life!

I love Cocoa’s first comment and a part of her second comment. However…….

I’m a believer and most of what Cocoa said is gospel. But I definitely cannot judge or condemn a person, because God loves us all (believer and unbeliever; that’s why Jesus died for all man). This is a song they wrote and produced to worship God with, only God sees their heart. So I don’t think it would be appropriate for anyone to say (your emotion filled opinions) that this song won’t make an impact or God detests a song that someone opined to be cool, because you don’t know that at all. God is love and as Christians we are to build up each other, rather than condemn or feel like we are something better than others. This song will bless people regardless of our opinions or reservations..

That said, I loved the visuals, ingenuity, show of talents and the message from the book of Jude 1:20; which is the central message of the song actually “building up yourselves in your most holy faith, by speaking in tongues..”. Speaking in tongued as a believer is key in communing with God.
