Adeboye prays for Christian Girl in Boko Haram Captivity - BellaNaija

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)E.A. Adeboye, has prayed for the release of the Dapchi girl still in captivity.

Boko Haram insurgents had returned 104 of the 110 abducted girls from the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi.

5 girls were reported dead, with 1 last girl, Leah Sharibu, who the insurgents reportedly refused to release because she insisted on not renouncing her religion, Christianity.

Adeboye, on his Twitter @PastorEAAdeboye, wrote:

Lord, we ask that you visit the camp of the captors and in a way that You alone can, see to the safe release and return of the missing girl Leah Sharibu in Jesus name.

Isaiah 49:25 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

Whoever is behind boko haram should know that there is a force greater, stronger and bigger than all forces and that is the Almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth. Who forces someone to change his or her religion? I am a muslim and my religion doesn’t preach this inhumane attitude, God is love and peace and whoever believes in Him should emulate love and peace not this barbaric attitude. This girl will return home in one piece as a christian by the special grace of God. Amiin

When a man of God can not come out openly to condemn the present govt, the truth he refused to speak about will consume him. May God protect that little girl who refused to denounce Christ for justice and His name sake. In Jesus name. Amen.

Daddy Go the girl needs you to put pressure on your high and mighty friends to go get her. Leah is more of a Christian than a lot of the “influential” Christians. Leah must not die daddy go or else her blood is on your head and that of all the GOs with political access who are “praying”. Leah needs serious pressure on SM and from those with access. Many are praying unannounced for her. Daddy, she needs you to call PMB and Osinbajo to go get her. That’s what she needs. Action. There are many already praying. You may be an answer to the prayers.

BN publish my comment. I don’t insult anyone as I respect Daddy GO and have been a member of rccg for many years. The truth does not change though. There is too much praying and little action in Naija. If you don’t publish and join the pressure to get Leah home her blood is on your head too if she gets matyred for Christ. Northern Christians are the real deal??

If you keep censoring genuine dialogue you are writing a letter to becoming less relevant in the national discourse.
