Condé Nast “emphatically” denies Rumours of Anna Wintour’s exit from Vogue
Rumours of fashion industry icon Anna Wintour vacating her position as editor of Vogue and artistic director of Condé Nast has been swirling for years.
Things have however reached their peak after Page Six reported that Wintour will be leaving Vogue after her daughter’s wedding in June.
Unnamed sources reportedly claimed that 68-year-old Wintour will leave the position she’s occupied for 30 years after closing Vogue’s September issue.
Edward Enninful, editor of UK Vogue is said to be in line to take over Wintour’s job, although it is unclear who will replace her as Condé Nast’s artistic director.
Condé Nast has however denied all of the claims, saying: “We emphatically deny these rumors.”
