Uber Driver allegedly stabs Passengers for Vomiting in her Car

A Georgian Uber driver has been arrested and charged for allegedly stabbing two passengers. According to People, the incident which occurred on Sunday involved a 29-year-old woman Shaunisha Danielle Brown and two passengers whom she allegedly stabbed multiple times after one of them threw up in her car.

One of the passengers who was unharmed Daniel Millard shared with WRDW-TV: “The Uber driver showed up we all get in. Everything is fine and dandy. We are like we’re going home. Great. She went down another wrong road and Amber just said, ‘Just get us where we are going please,’ and the driver got offended by that I’ll take it.”

Milliard further revealed that at this point, Danielle Brown stopped the car and yelled  “What did you say to me?”

“Then, Amber said ‘just get us home please,’” Millard continued. “Then Amber said ‘we paid 100% for the ride so we want 100% of the ride.’ [Brown] slammed on her breaks again, and she said she doesn’t need this, ‘get out of my vehicle.’ Amber is still demanding ‘please take us to our house, please take us to our house”.

The report further revealed that authorities claimed that the passengers were intoxicated and one began to vomit in the car which prompted the driver to get physical. After attempting to kick the riders out of her car, she allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the women multiples times.

Well watch whose car you vomit in you silly passengers. The things people try with Uber’s these days just leaves you wondering who are these fools? Not saying anyone deserves to be stabbed but yeah Uber drivers deal with a lot.

Nah. I will forgive vomiting cos someone is ill . Grown azzzz people getting drunk to the point of vomiting is simply irresponsible. Come on now? The public intoxication culture in America is part of the problem. Not cool and yeah maybe not stab them. But they deserve to be slapped. Uber is not out there to get drunken people home man. Kilode. They will clean the seat and then next passenger will sit on vomit patch stain not knowing what he or she is sitting on. Oshi! Go and try that will yellow cab. I think people just think cos it’s uber or Lyft anything goes. Have some daggone manners people

[email protected] there’s nothing I won’t hear. Nothing is inhumane about her comment, it’s the truth. don’t stab, but the driver has right to be upset. American culture condones too much in the name of customer service. the passenger should have mentioned to stop the car to vomit somewhere. that’s how a passenger peed in my friend’s car. abeg Jo, just bcos you paid doesn’t give right to do anything you want.

I agree… people have zero respect for others and other people’s property. They act like idiots and have an entitled attitude just because you are paying for a $15 or $20 ride… yeah throwing up is involuntary but most times there is a warning your body gives you that you are about to throw up… have some decency open the window… yell stop stop stop…

I don’t agree with the stabbing though … that was extreme.

@Lilo, as part of its terms of service there’s actually a charged fee for throwing up in a Uber car. It used to be a flat $250 charge but it’s been modified and ranges from about $80-150 these days, so that crazy driver had no business at all stabbing anyone over a vomit (and neither would you to slap anyone). Frankly, folks who cannot handle dealing with the public have no business in a line of work that does precisely that. She should have sat a crusty behind at home.

PS: And yes, a big part of Uber and other taxi or car services at night is precisely to ferry drink persons home, and thankfully so because I am sure that you would not want a drunk driver crashing into you or a member of your family because she/he could not get a ride home.

    i agree with E

I believe in property rights as a part of inalienable rights, but i disagree with harming another human being over property rights.

no matter how you spin it, a property is a non-living thing, it may directly affect human life if damaged or removed, but human life is still more valuable, and that’s why there is compensation.

When you kill a human being you cannot compensate for the life lost.

So there is a scientific extent to which you can defend a property – that limit depends on the nature of, function the property provides and the point at which that defense will pose a threat to the right to life of another human being.

long story short – you can not stab someone for vomiting in your car, let alone a car you are renting out to the public. I believe its reasons like these people get things like insurance?

UBER is good on paper but their drivers are not trained for the service industry, I will take a cab any day. These ride share companies should train their drivers and most importantly do a proper background check like the cabs.

Obviously, these passengers where trying to piss this lady off.
But, she should not have resorted to stabbing them. It wasn’t worth it. Now, she’s the one doing time for a hasty action.
She should have controlled her anger.
