BLK/OPL Nigeria partners with Few Models Agency to host Few’s Next Face Africa Competition

BLK/OPL brand was founded on the bases of providing quality and affordable beauty products for women of color. What further way to showcase the versatility of the brand than teaming up with an international modeling agency. It was of great pleasure that BLK/OPL Nigeria collaborated with Few Models Agency, the leading modeling agency in Nigeria, for the Few’s Next Face Africa competition in August.

The competition brought girls from various parts of Africa, to vie for the position of being Few’s Next Face and BLK/OPL Nigeria was charged with creating subtle natural looks for the contestants.  Looks were achieved with the BLK/OPL TRUE COLOR pore perfecting liquid foundation and the BLK/OPL TRUE COLOR pore perfecting powder foundation, complemented with the TOTAL COVERAGE concealing foundation, depending on their shades. Finishing up the makeup was with the BLK/OPL TRUE COLOR soft velvet finishing powder which was to control oil and give a matte finish, and also allow a true-to-tone color-matching formula. The BLK/OPLCOLORSPLURGE lipgloss in “Lustre Gloss” was applied on their lips for the final look.

On the BLK/OPL Nigeria glam squad for the competition we had, Uche Enyokwa of Sutchay, Ayo of Monads and Chrome, Adedoyin of DidiMua, Uche of Chays Glam, Felicity of Beautybylqm and Bosipo of @bosbos_mua, together with the ambassadors of BLK/OPL Nigeria, Lillian Paul and Tolani Aremu of Artistry by Tolani.

On Thursday, August 30th, 2018, we had the photo shoot with the 10 models. We achieved the no-makeup makeup look where the models had very subtle makeup on. The goal was to capture the models as natural as possible while they had their video and photo sessions.
