Sony Music, R. Kelly‘s record label of 30 years, have parted ways with him.
Billboard reports that the sources confirm that the singer has been dumped by his record label and has been removed from the RCA website.
The move follows the airing of the documentary “Surviving R. Kelly” and protests against the singer outside the Sony building.
Several artists, including Lady Gaga and Celine Dion have apologized for working with the singer, and have promised to remove the songs from streaming platforms.
