On Saturday, April 27th, 2019, Lagos Food Bank presents a nutrition campaign combining dance-aerobics, games, and fundraising. This event tagged “#lfbiDanceathon campaign for Nutrition” will hold at the Police College Ground, Ikeja, Lagos from 7 am and aim to raise awareness on the importance of nutrition and exercise to health and wellbeing. It will beam a needed searchlight on the interdependent relationship between healthy eating and healthy living.
Aside from giving the general public a fun means to dance away excess body fats and gain a new appreciation for the benefits of aerobics, it is also a chance for 2,500- 3,000 volunteers, amongst celebrities’ volunteers of community outreaches to stretch their legs and raise funds for improvised communities.

The Danceathon event is also a fundraising event, therefore, the minimum of N1000 will be a donation towards the event to be a part and it comes with a drink. Non-volunteers will get a shirt at the entry point to participate.
