Here’s how You can Help Teens Living with Autism! Support the 2019 Open Your Heart Camp
Open your Heart will be hosting its third annual flagship program on Saturday, July 20th, 2019. The camp is an outdoor empowerment programme for under-served teenagers in Nigeria. Every year, Open your Heart is focused on a set of under-served teens and this year’s focus is on inclusion among teens living with autism and neurotypical teens.
Date: Saturday, July 20th, 2019.
The Open Your Heart Camp 2019: Exploring Water on Treasure Island program will use experience in nature and practical coastline protection activities to empower 15 teens living with autism and 15 neurotypical teens to respect nature, protect the ocean, clean up the beach, build community, inspire self-determination and learn more about turning trash to treasure. It will be a day of teamwork, learning, self-discovery, empowerment and fun.
A lot of effort and expertise has gone into putting together a program that will truly change the lives of these teens.
The program is in two phases (both at Tarkwa Bay), please see more details of the program below
