Life after Eviction

After an intense Live Eviction Show, life gradually resumes back to normal in the BBNaija House.

The bottom four called up for Eviction last night had the Housemates partially shocked and left them wondering what they had to do survive suffering the same fate. Finding out that Housemates they thought would be fans favourite made them realise they really couldn’t predict what the viewers wanted.

What do they want again?

Erica asked, still confounded that Neo made the list of the bottom four. She believed Neo was one of the most entertaining Housemates in the House and wondered how he made the chopping block. This Neo thing is the one that has shocked me so far,” She reiterated still shocked that in spite of all the effort he put up to entertain the House, it still didn’t save him from the bottom four fate. “Just keep being yourself,” Ozo said in response. Praise who had also been up for Eviction pointed out to Neo that that’s how it feels.

The housemates weren’t the only ones that were shocked at Neo being among the bottom four. A lot of you were too.

As for his fans, this was a call to put in more effort.

One other thing that caught your eyes was the bromance between Ozo and Neo when he found out the latter wasn’t leaving the house. He must have been pretty frightened at the prospect of his friend leaving the House.

Shouting may not be the answer

After getting warned by Biggie for her outburst in the House, Nengi sat down to listen to wise words from Laycon on resolving confrontations amicably. Laycon advised that getting into a shouting match wasn’t the best way to go about solving issues. “No disagreement will be settled when you raise your voice,” Laycon said, making reference to the shouting match Nengi got into with Kaisha. The best move he stated was to spot trouble and walk away. Even though no matter how you try to avoid trouble, it will always come. The right thing to do was to walk away or let go.

Laycon always had an impressive way with words and this time again, he left y’all impressed.

The wise words continued and this time, it was from Prince to Lucy. Both Housemates have always had a close friendship in the House and from time to time, Prince has offered Lucy words to help her get by in the House. Lucy’s fondness for pessimistic utterances gave Prince cause for concern and he made it known when he told her, “you bring negative vibes to yourself through the things you say”. “You say some things you should rather keep on the inside,” he further said. He referred to her constantly talking about being ready to be Evicted. This might be Lucy’s defence mechanism as she explained that it was safer to be that way and why she tries not to get attached after losing her first friend.

Teasing Vee

After the shock of the Live Eviction Show wore off, the Housemates took to teasing each other. Vee was the first one to get teased. Earlier when Neo was called up as part of the bottom, she was visibly shaken, and the tears weren’t too far. The Housemates recalled this, and Praise took a few jibes at her as he mentioned how grief-stricken she looked when she found out that Neo might be out of the House.

The Housemates remaining have survived another week in the House and as they enter the new week, the battle gets fiercer. How well will they do to convince people out there that they deserve to go beyond this new week? only time will tell.

Sweating past the sadness

With passing Eviction has an impact on the Housemates and it shows everywhere, even n their gym work.

The impact that an event like an Eviction has can be seen in nearly every facet of the Big Brother Housemate’s activities and today’s workout was perfect proof. Here’s how Kaisha’s goodbye bye was felt long after it happened.

If mourning was expressed in lack of movement then perhaps Tolanibaj was taking it the hardest as she sat wrapped in a blanket, sitting against the wall for the majority of the gym session. Another group looking sombre was Laycon, Vee, and Nengi who also passed time by giving their resting muscles a workout by warming the bench. There was also an element of missing joy in the way Dorathy would mimic a few of the exercises the other Housemates were doing as she intermittently participated with an obvious lack of conviction.

The usually active Prince spent the beginning of his work out relaxed before fighting himself to find the energy to do push-ups with Trikytee. Brighto also engaged in bodyweight exercises and like Kiddwaya he chose to sweat all on his own. Also exhibiting the need to be alone was Wathoni who used her gym time to walk laps at a brisk pace as if she was trying to get away from something.

If loss could be lessened by exertion then the activities that Neo, Ozo, Erica and later on Lucy engaged in would have left them feeling relieved. An extensive core routine was the order of the day, and when Lucy joined the party, Neo’s infectious spirit encouraged her to go from falling behind to leading the pack. Could it be that after Biggie’s warning yesterday, Lucy realised that she needs to take part more and argue less if she wants to extend her stay in the House?

Lastly, Praise had the most intensive work out of the entire group. He could be seen doing all manner of exercises. Perhaps he was influenced by his admission that his size had changed during the Diary Room session yesterday, and he realised what he needs to do about it.

Another session of sweat completed in the Big Brother House, even if it wasn’t a happy one.

More of the comeback Diary

Read more about the Housemates as they tell Big Brother who they would bring back to the season five House.

As the Dairy session continued, more of the Big Brother Housemates thoughts came to the fore. We know Biggie has a way with bringing out the deepest thoughts and today as we said, the Housemates tell Bog Brother who they would bring back to the season five House.

Prince

Prince shared with Biggie that he was not as confident as he was last week because he did not understand how a guy like Neo could end up on the bottom four lists. Interestingly enough, Prince told Biggie that he would bring Ka3na back because she treated him well. He didn’t think the Housemates saw her sweet side, only her spicey side- but he knew better.

Wathoni

Wathoni had a moment with Biggie where she said she didn’t like talking about her son in the House because she thinks that people will take advantage of that and use it against her. She had a small breakdown with Biggiem recounting to him that up until Sunday she didn’t think that anyone cared for her, after the Vote, many Housemates showed her support and made her start feeling like she belonged. Wathoni said she was experiencing a vacuum because Kaisha isn’t here anymore, but hen asked who she would bring back, she said she would bring Eric back.

Praise

Praise was not as emotional as he has been of late, telling Biggie that he felt good. He explained to Biggie that he voted Kaisha and Trikytee because he was closer to Neo and Wathoni. He added that Kaisha only helped out when it suited her. When asked who he would bring back he said he missed Ka3na and would bring her back.

Tolanibaj

Tolanibaj was in high spirits today and told Biggie that she would definitely choose Ozo for Head of House later in the day because she liked how he led the House during his Reign. When asked who she would bring back, Tolanibaj told Biggie that it would likely be Lilo as she was the first person to welcome her back into the House and she appreciated that.

Neo

Neo was understandably grateful to be here, telling Biggie that it is all God that he is still here, or that he made it to the House at all. When asked who he would bring back, Neo thought for a bit before telling Biggie that he would bring Erica back because they got along well. Neo as not sure why the housemates kept him in the House, but he was grateful.

Brighto

Brighto is always a man of few words and his session was short as usual. Bright voted for Trikytee and Kaisha because he was not as close to then as he as to Neo and Wathoni. He told Biggie that housemates are sentimental when they vote and did not agree with that approach to the Game. Brighto told Biggie that he would bring Tochi back because he was closest to Tochi.

Erica

Erica was also in high spirits today, though she misses Kaisha and felt like Kaisha was a vibe. She told Biggie today that she needed to remain herself in the House and not concern herself with what the viewers would like or not like, people would like her for being herself. She told Biggie that it is weird, but she would get Ka3na back into the House because she was crazy and fun.

Ozo

Ozo told Biggie quite frankly that it doesn’t matter what the Housemates do in the House, what mattered was what happened outside the House. He told Biggie in no uncertain terms that it was important for the Housemates to realise that this was a game and in the end, Housemates would need to make decisions that their consciences could live with. When asked who he would bring back, Ozo felt that he would bring Lilo back so that people could see the real her.

Laycon

Laycon filled Biggie in on the fact that he voted for Trikytee and Kaisha because out of all the nominated Housemates, he was the closest to them. If he could return anyone to the House his choice would be Lilo because she was one of the smartest people in the House and didn’t get a chance to show her personality.

Vee

Vee let Biggie know that she voted for Kaisha and Wathoni to go. Her reason was that she wanted her better half Neo to progress in the game and Trikytee is closer to her than Wathoni. As for bringing someone back, her choice was Tochi.

Kiddwaya

Kiddwaya shared with Biggie that his Eviction Vote went to Kaisha and Wathoni. He reasoned that Kaisha didn’t bond enough with the fellow Housemate’s, and Wathoni needed to go because he felt that she wasn’t being herself. He also shared the sentiment that Tochi would be the perfect person to bring back.

Lucy

Lucy said that her Eviction Votes were cash for Trikytee and Kaisha because she felt the majority of the Housemates would vote for Kaish and she wanted hers to make the vital difference. If given the choice to bring someone back, Lucy’s selection would be Ka3na because she felt true friendship with her.

Trikytee

Trikytee used his time to tell Biggie that he was surprised by the early exits of Ka3na and Eric. He also shared that he missed Kaisha a great deal as they had struck up a friendship during her time in the House.

Nengi

Nengi let Biggie know that her Eviction Votes were cast for Kaisha and Wathoni because they do not feature in terms of closeness to her. Her choice for a returning Housemate was also Tochi as she thought of him as “A really cool dude.”

Dorathy

After being sent back for being dressed inappropriately in the Diary Room, Dorathy told Biggie that her Eviction Votes went to Kaisha and Trikytee because she was looking out for her friends who wanted Neo and Wathoni to stick around. She agreed with a few of the other Housemates that if it was possible, Ka3na should be brought back.

Kiddwaya wins HoH

Kiddwaya Wins fifth HOH Challenge.

Tonight’s HOH Challenge will be one to remember for Kiddwaya as he took the prize that saw him in the HOH Lounge for the second week in a row. The challenge, as usual, was no easy feat- as you will soon find out. Erica sat this one out as she was the HoH last week and was therefore exempt from this weeks Game.

A new reward

Biggie made an announcement before the Game began and told the Housemates that the new HOH pair would have the privilege of inviting one other Housemate each into the HOH Lounge. These Housemates would be allowed to hang out in the Lounge, but not to sleep there.

The Rules

In 1 minute and 15 seconds, the Housemates would make it around the board with the following obstacles:

A. Pick and drop, where the Housemate sucks a pompom through a straw and blow it out into a bowl. on step 1.

2. The Popper, where they would pop the balloon before going back to the board. Step 3

3. The Putt where they would put a gold ball the golf ball on block 13

4. An obstacle where they would kick a ball into a net. thereafter their last obstacle before finishing would be to kick a ball into a mini net on block 25

5. There is a restart card and a game over card.

The mystery chest

A mysterious chest sat on the board tonight where Biggie told the Housemates that to claim the gold in the chest they would have to land on step number 8. The chest would take them 8 steps forward on the mat. This means: as long as they landed on step 8 before getting to the gold chest you must immediately move to step number 28.

The Obstacles slowed us down

Housemates such as Wathoni, Dorathy and Brighto all fell victim to the very first obstacle in the game having to start on a back foot in comparison to the rest of the Housemates. They each picked their one pom and continued. The popper claimed Neo, Nengi, Ozo and Kiddwaya. Obstacle 23 claimed Nengi as she had to run and put the goofball into the hole, where he buzzer rang as she tried to get the ball in. Only Kiddwaya made his way to block 25 which contained the last obstacle.

How far did they get?

Laycon made it as far as to block 6. Nengi made it as far as 13 before the buzzer got her. Trikytee had made it to block 9 where he had to face the challenge of starting again, looked at the time and decided he did not have the time. Wathoni and Dorathy never made it past the first block. Ozo made it as far as to block 14. Brighto made it to block 20. Lucy and Neo made it to block 12, with Praise making his way to the same block as the buzzer rang. Tolanoibaj made it as far as the fifth block. Vee made it as far as block 18. The furthest was obviously Kiddway who made it all the way to block 25 but Prince was hot on his heels as he made it to the 23rd block. The competition was very tight tonight.
