“Nigeria’s Must Watch TV”, Tinsel premieres Season III in Lagos
On Thursday 3rd of June 2010, Medici was the venue of the premiere event for the third season MNet’s highly-rated soap opera, Tinsel.
Since the launch of the show in September 2008, it has continually improved with stronger storylines and engaging characters. From the start of Season III, the show will air five days a week on MNet with an omnibus during the weekend.
Fans of the show have are hooked on current plot twists including the death of Ashionye Ugboh-Raccah’s character, Monica Ade-Williams ; the budding rivalry between Reginald and his ex-wife Amaka’s new ‘toyboy’ and of course, Brenda Mensah’s scheming.
The event was a relaxed and fun-filled affair with celebrities including Desmond Elliot, Dakore and Julius Agwu gracing the event.
