Saniye Alasia, or Saniye as she’d rather be called, is an aspiring 19 year old R&B singer. She is still very much a green horn, but she shows a whole lot of potential. She began to sing professionally in 2009 but had previously been involved with singing in the choir.
Her first song, Broken is a dirge to a broken heart, love lost and promises unfulfilled. The second, My Baby is a more playful, up tempo track that explores the “you-can-run-but-can’t-hide-from-my-love” theme

i am really surprised that saninye is actually singing, choir!!! since when did she start going ti church. i love the second song but it sounds so much like what other Nigerian artist have been singing. she needs to put in more effort, in all i think she sounds okay for a fresher, yh my friends say the first song is out of tune, doesn’t rhyme with the beat
lovely picture…not bad vocals either…stil room for improvement but brilliant start considering nja doesnt av so much of really young artists.I will suggest u do the Justin Bieber strategy, get a godfather or mother (the cobhams inspired one’s pls) in your choice of genre.Kudo’s dear.
