hmmmmnnn… Maki Oh.. hasn’t been impressive. Klûk CGDT…totally love.
def…..first to comment. no Amaka can catch me out
ooooOoops
HAHAHA, you people never learn. when you mention my name i only come down harder on y’all. hahaha
NOT QUITE!!!!!
Better luck next time.. hahahahaha
whaaaaaaaaaaat una no dey sleep for BN… I TIRE O,
i swear the girl in blue in the first picture was on america’s next top model…her name is either amina or aisha
Yea, she was. Her name is Amina
just thinking oh….if you are Emerging Designer of the year, isn’t this a good platform to promote such talent by taking her to the NYFW. Some names on that list have featured there before why not give fresh talent a chance. just my 2 naira
Nope.. because it is risk, NYFW could be the make or break of her cos there are loads of fashion critics and secondly, she might not be able to handle it when the large orders starts rolling in. Thats why Victoria Beckham as still not being on it.
@chichi yeah she was on ANTM, and yes her Aminat….her dramas on ANTM was too much i preferred Nnenna…omg Ojy where have u been miss ur pretty face
Aminat didnt have drama in that house o!
Deola Sagoe =HOT SEXY MAMA, she is so effortlessly graceful, see fresh skin chei…
i wonder where Oluchi is. & i also wonder where Nnenna Agba is! i love her! i also see Agbani…
seems great, can’t wait until the pics come!
i remember saying a few weeks ago that its about time we have a Nigerian’s Next Top Model. the show is so overdue and i am interested in seeing some Naija drama. haha lol
Oluchi is there o…she’s the one presenting Flaviana Matata’s award to her. She’s looking quite preggers too!
i made that before the other pictures were added. NO WONDER SHE ISN’T MODELLING! she is probably pregnant again. awwww, congrats to her!
i don’t think thats Flaviana standing next to Oluchi, and if it is, her face has really changed.
Seriously. Can we get runway photos?
Bella oh come on, we are waiting patiently…
Thumbs to Arise Magazine, there is a re-birth of African Fashion. We hope corporate bodies will come on board as sponsors,it is time.
There was an audition for West Africa’s Next Top Model in 2009….girls were short-listed but they never got back to them. Someone should really look into that…. The thing tho is would the platform really take the girls far?…or would it just to be for our entertainment and profit?
west africa’s next top model = nigeria’s next top model. they only had auditions in naija. so they might as well call it what it is.
Lovely designs, nice models. Yes o I spotted Agbani first Aminat not quite. Had to scroll up and see her. Great event me likey.
So finally Nigeria has come of age in FASHION now lets us hold this and make it better next year
I trust Deola! Good job. Sorry I missed it *sigh*
First of all what the heck is Agbani wearing? She’s got a great body and all but that does not forgive that dress. Flavianna bears a resemblance to Nnenna (top model show Nnenna) … maybe its just my eyes; a younger looking and more round faced version. And Shade Thomas Fahm looks like a cutout poster in that pic. Chika Emmanuel (PRICELESS!!!). I’m proud of our designers.
Gooooo Flaviana u rock darling .U make Tanzanians Proud .We ar so Proud of you .Young Beautiful, Intelligent ,focused, wise,Hard working, .Ur a really an example of Tanzanian ladies ,Thats how we ar in shot.
I want Tinie Tempah!!!
Aww, Oluchi is preggers..
Agbani….the dress is NO. she should never do that again.
I’m loving the “Black Coffee” picture. BLACK MODELS ROCK! yes, this is the time for all the black models to shine!
Lifetime Achievement Award in Fashion?????AZIN Are they serious?
DEOLA SAGOE has my utmost respect any day. Mo’cheddah always jumping. lol, love her still:)
Get a life folks….. so many REAL things happening in the world… Take a good look around one self.
Happy and gutted @ the same time. Happy that Arise went to 9ja after such a long time, I can’t believe they waited soo long. BTW that magazine costs £4.95 in London and getting it like finding gold dust (difficult!), gutted I wasn’t there but London Tonight reported 2mins abi 2 seconds from behind the scenes! Na wah. 9ja is definitely gaining more recognition on the world stage. Mo cheddah reminds me of a young Brandy ; ) visit me @ http://www.9javatar.blogspot.com. One Love
Oluchi looks great and some others as well…
Oluchi is so preggers, cute!
