WED Expo Stormed Lagos for 2 Days – Photos from Nigeria’s Largest Wedding Exhibition

It was an event we all expected to successful but based on reviews it was more than successful. As you scroll down and see the pictures you will understand what I mean. WED Expo 2012 was an absolute success as it had the best of the best of the wedding industry with about 120 exhibitors and over 10,000 guests that walked through the halls from brides and grooms to parents of brides and grooms to be and friends it was an mazing crowd. This proved to be the largest ever wedding exhibition to happen in Western Africa. Lots of activities and It was hosted in one of the largest tents in Nigeria owned by Balmoral Halls.
Everyone had fun and it was a place to be. It fast became the talk of town due to the success. Brides and Grooms came from cities all over Nigeria including Kano, Calabar, Uyo, Owerri, Abuja and many more places. The MC for the show was HeadMastar.
The WED Couture Bridal Show hosted by Koffi was state of the art as 4 major designers Yemi Osunkoya (Kosibah), Frank Osodi, Ade Bakare and Mai Atafo showcased their new collections. The night ended with Shuga Band entertaining guests while DJ Humility handled the whole show including the main exhibition.
It was an event that changed the wedding industry landscape in Nigeria.

Wed Expo 2012 was da bomb! Wow! You wouldn’t believe something of this magnitude and quality could be put together in Naija. Awesome is just the word. Really looking forward to Wed Expo 2013. The organisers outdid themselves this year and so I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next year.

Wed expo 2012 was a MEGA SUCCESS. The organizers out did themselves and proved that they can bring western world standards to Lagos. I was highly impressed. As in, I will not miss out on WED EXPO 2013.

Now all other ‘so-called’ wedding exhibitions can see how its really done. I think they should all just leave it to the Wed team. Cos from what I can see, they probably can’t catch up. Fantastic job Wed team.

I was one of the exhibitors so bcos am not Frank Osodi nor Kosibah you pole didn’t showcase my stand. Pls give we up and coming the opportunity to get there too, afterall the so called big names started somewhere.

Thank you for exhibiting at WED Expo 2012. If you look at the pictures you will see the focus was not on the vendors name because we are sure you got a lot of prospects. There were about 125 exhibitors but only have a few pictures up. Don’t worry on the next edition we will have a whole lot more pictures.

well i attended d expo and it was splendid but i had a problem wit some of d vendors cos they sized u up first b/4 attending 2 u and most of d stuffs were expensive and i wondered if there’s a space 4 any1 on a low budget, apart 4rm that every other thing was cool and i had fun
for you to have a full package u need to consider a proper african lady here talking of the plumpy/fat ladies. so when they watch dis they cud easily picture themslves wearing one of d gowns
