A lot of people don’t do “what they are supposed to do”. It is always refreshing to see someone who does…

make us (Kalabari) proud girl…proudly kalabari anytime..
is this a first or second degree?
cos when she won miss world she was a student and its been 10 years o
so please explain!
no beef*
Did you bother to read the article???
So what if it’s been 10 years? So what if it’s her first degree??? Who cares if it’s a masters or not?!? Msheeew! Stop tallying the numbers and celebrate with her instead!
Cograts
It is first degree oooo, at least according to the gown, MS and doctorate gown is different ……. I guess better late than never ,
So from computer science to psychology, hmmm.
I hope she didn’t just go to school for the sake of a degree. Her skills will have been more marketable if she stuck to computer science.
Typical. So because it’s not a cliche degree like computer science/accounting/law/medicine, etc, it doesn’t count? Think outside your suffocating box. Ugh!
@ Daniel If you had bothered to read the article you wouldn’t be asking these questions.
Congrats Agbani!! Modeling takes a lot of your time especially when you’re successful at it. I am proud of these Nigerian supermodels- Oluchi, Ojy, and now Agbani.
Im a Nigerian and I hope some of these readers with their cave man mentality will not say she should “find a husband” now. I know that some Nigerian women’s main goals in life are to find husbands and give birth (and nothing more). Allow the woman pursue her goals and that phase of her life will come at Gods time.
Nothing wrong with having marriage as a goal- kai, I wish I had married that Arab sheikh when he proposed a couple of years but see me see trouble, sitting here writing to you and defending marriage- who knows, another one will come along….
lololololol………..your comment is so hilarious. no worry the Sheikh will come back. i tender my CV for his younger brother, i no mind elderly uncle sef
wetin concern husband matter for this one?
what is wrong with having a husband ojy and oluchi are both married and have kids and they are doing what they love marriage is a beutiful thing when done right marriiage is not a death sentence of your aspirations and goals it is the beginning of them agbani if you have a good man please marry and dont mind this myopic view that to be successful you need to be single
whether she did it for just a degree or not, she is a graduate, well computer science in mind before, i don’t see anything wrong changing course oh, it happens a lot besides she knows much better to decide …..congrat babes
Daniel she didnt complete d oda (dunce)sidney i love ds u statement. Lets hook up on facebook pls. Genny olikagu. U got so go gal @agbani
Congrats. You will go far and rise even higher
You can tell when someone is a true beauty inside and out from the light that shines from their eyes. Agbani is a true beauty!
Congrats on her accomplishments.
Congrats Agbani!. You are beauty and brain…me wishing you success in all your endeavours. Go gal and keep making us proud!!!
Congrats Agbani! Well done girl! to haters! Even OBJ went back to school, it’s never too late! Besides, the chic is young! unlike our daddies dat we see in NYSC shirts!
So what if she took 10years?And she changed course? And what makes you think computer science is more marketable than psychology abroad?or you think she’s coming back to work in Lagos? Some people should be banned from commenting, cos their comments are too ignorant.I don’t know if there is a certain stipulated age for graduating from Uni or a law against changing course
She ever want me to remain slim,go girl.
Well done Agbani, getting your degree is more important than that Miss World crown or those modelling contracts- at least you have something to fall back on when those looks or your figure goes (if it does)- I wish Nigerian footballers could learn a lesson from Agbani!
Congrats FGGC Abuloma chic! You go girl…
Beauty is not just enough today. Congratulations.
Congrts Girl!
Modelling takes time indeed
She must be Chanel Iman, Naomi Campbell, Alex Wek, Jourdan Dunn
or Abby lee kershaw………..
i dont think she was very successful as a model no beef
i have only seen a handful of her campaigns while Aishwarya Rai has a lot more…
No pun intended but Oluchi & Ojy are not Super Models pls…
Like this (thumbs up). Inspiring …
yeah right big whoop!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats Agbani! Brush off the frustrated haters who have not and will never achieve one-tenth of the success you have achieved! Do you!
Congratulations dearie
I don’t know you, but I will say congratulations!
Congrats girl! Salut’
Wow, i so much love her, that’s really beautiful, hope she has good day.
\
Am personally happy for u girl, may d good Lord continue to bless n increase u in wisdom, finally give u a good husband so that u can settle down, the fact that u re an African woman cannot be change. move ahead!
congrats agbani..love u always…from tanzania
Agbani has done very well for herself and deserves to be congratulated. There are many models around the world who never bothered to attend Uni (including our Nigerian Oluchi). Most of them just keep modeling, marry rich men, have babies and keep on modelling. Little or no brains in dem skinny heads!
So Big Congrats to you Agbani, and NYU is a great school too. I envy you. lol.
I know sometime soon you’ll also start a family. Its just the cycle of life. God bless you dear. Pls keep your head up, dont loose it out there and keep representing.
Naija loves you!!!
congratulations to her
@Londoner, you are right they not international SUPERMODEL, but they are in Nigeria (I used to work as a model booker with STORM). Even Iman Chanel, is not a supermodel, inspite of the fact she works a lot…
Like Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer once said the word ‘Supermodel’ is loosely used. At Storm, we have few name new Supermodels on the book, apart from the original SUPERMODELS.
Oluchi, is referred to as an international Top Model (in STORM), but that title can’t go to Ojy or Agbani, because they are not as known as Oluchi in the international modelling areana (maybe when they do Victoria Secret (VS) or Sports Illustrated (SI).
Anyway, I’m happy for them cos black models don’t really work…
Congrats darlin agbani, you have done so well!and for those who can’t celebrate with others for success/achievements….you can as well stop posting claptrap..typical Nigerians, whether a joke or not,it’s not necessary judging others. I pray you are not criticised at your own celebration….
ojy also did countless jobs in america! she went very far by nigerian standards. so yes she can be called a nigerian super model.
congrate dear….i wish to be like u,go and make us proud and teach us the way…..add me on facebook lfunanya nwafor offorchebe
whenever i want to have a goooooood laugh, i come to bellanaija, haba people!!!! why not be happy with her @least, whether she changed course or not or got the degree after 10 years does it matter? psychologists make lots of money here in the states and whoever says you can’t diversify. congrats o jare my sister you’ve done well for yourself
