when its time to dress up, pull all the stops for wedding, nigerians won’t, if its to over dress for concert, that one they know well well. mtscheeeew. Bovi and wife looking HOT!! some pple will sew/wear a nice outfit and throw cheap shoes and a nasty belt on it, ruin d whole outfit, kai.

      • AnONYMouS September 6, 2012 at 5:45 AM

I concur! So many funny shoes. Some were just too busy for the attire! A pair of shoe should complement!

    • brandigest September 5, 2012 at 4:56 PM

This is a wedding to be at. If not it provides opportunity for heavy networking. Congrats Teju. God’s blessing.

    • lilz September 5, 2012 at 5:00 PM

How dare you wear white dresses to a white wedding wen you are not the bride????to make matters worse the other chick wore a flowing white dress that looks like a brides wedding dress..for goodness sakes where are they from?????

      • Anon September 5, 2012 at 10:23 PM

The bride is on the left in her “reception dress.” She changed from the wedding dress

      • audrey September 5, 2012 at 10:58 PM

calm down…. the lady in the flowing white dress is d bride oh!

      • t September 6, 2012 at 3:06 AM

It is the bride with a guest. Bella naija, I think you need to tag that picture

      • leo September 6, 2012 at 4:38 PM

my sister, i was wondering the same thing ooo…its all good sha

    • Chattyzee September 5, 2012 at 5:05 PM

This lady should be fined! Lovely dress, but you are not the bride, don’t wear that to a wedding! (at least, not in white)

      • M September 5, 2012 at 8:27 PM

Ermmm the lady wearing the flowing white dress is the bride. That was her reception dress :s

      • t September 6, 2012 at 3:04 AM

That is the bride in her 2nd dress!!!

    • giggy September 5, 2012 at 5:06 PM

loved the pictures… for once the women looked chic with exposing too much… thumbs up to them.

    • giggy September 5, 2012 at 5:07 PM

      *without exposing too much skin*

    • Vali September 5, 2012 at 5:21 PM

      T-Rock!!!!! We see u

    • Naveah September 5, 2012 at 5:34 PM

I guess these two chicks never got the memo that a guest should never wear white to a wedding because one should never upstage the bride. If it is a formal, traditional white wedding (as in the bride is wearing white), it is wedding etiquette for the guest to NOT wear white to avoid competing with the bride. If the wedding is non-traditional and the guest speaks with the bride or the guest’s dress is NOT PURE white then it’s allowed.

      • t September 6, 2012 at 3:05 AM

That is the bride oh!!!…and a guest

      • Tara September 6, 2012 at 9:13 AM

u need to read more and pay attention to details. ppl have said it in previous comments that its d bride in d white flowing gown, yet u r still giving lecture on ettiquette. abegi, calm down

    • Toyin September 5, 2012 at 5:37 PM

Everybody looked well put together. I only wish I will see more naija women rocking their natural hair. We are the blackest country, yet we are too obsessed with everything west. So, please naija women put more effort to take care of your natural hair, grow it healthy. Even, if it’s different braid or twist hairstyle with extension that will be okay.

      • Chikoski September 10, 2012 at 9:03 PM

abeg abeg, do what u like with your own hair and we would do what we like with ours *jeez* Nigerian’s just like to mind other ppls businesses. stay in ur own lane abeg.

    • i no send September 5, 2012 at 5:39 PM

peju and ope i see uuuu, niceeee

    • Laide O September 5, 2012 at 5:58 PM

Nice and colourful. Some of the outfits for the white wedding would have been better suited for nightclub or so but hey!

    • huh? September 5, 2012 at 6:10 PM

BN you too much, without you my life would have been so dull,I luv fashion, atleast seeing the *coupled up*section the first and the third chick in d pix look superb, simple but classic dress, their body pull it well, and they kind of look alike.the 2nd chick in*fashionista in blue*section look chicky and unigue. They all look good, except the thick lady with glass.

    • R September 5, 2012 at 6:16 PM

Love the blue and silver fabric

    • Camron September 5, 2012 at 6:21 PM

    • Iris September 5, 2012 at 6:44 PM

Congratulations to them. Now is it just me or did anyone else notice all the space between the tables? That’s so great! I’m yet to attend a wedding where you don’t have to squeeze past people to get anywhere. I’m wondering if it’s just that they had fewer people, but if it isn’t, it’s good to know that larger halls exist.

    • Lafunky September 5, 2012 at 6:49 PM

It seems this pictures/article is more about the guests not the bride/groom. I would have loved to see more pictures of Teju and Tobi , their bridal train, their traditional outfits, e-tc. BN might not post my comment but it’s constructive criticism.

    • nene September 5, 2012 at 7:34 PM

I still don’t understand why people are dressed in “Western/English” outfits to a traditional wedding…

    • ktemi September 5, 2012 at 10:16 PM

I don’t mean to sound like a critic but was expecting the aso-ebi styles to be more whao!! and was a disappointed….at least compared to the others I’ve faves were

      lady in the middle:

And the first purple trad aso-ebi….

as someone else said, some of the natives were spoilt by too much colours/accessorizing

      My 2cents :O)

    • Tina September 6, 2012 at 10:36 AM
