Fashion at its best will rock the city of Lagos this week!

The 2012 edition of the MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week officially kicked off yesterday, Wednesday 24th October 2012 and will run till Saturday 27th October 2012 at the Expo Center, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The 2012 MTN Lagos Fashion and Week aims to cut across geographic and culture barriers and position itself as a business of fashion and design event targeted at showcasing the best of the fashion and design industry, drive the Nigerian fashion industry and ultimately uplift its profile within the economy.

As title sponsors, MTN strives to enrich lives as they have dedicatedly done in the last 10 years in Nigeria, using telecommunications as a medium for facilitating the fashion and lifestyle business in Nigeria.

The fashion excitement this week cannot be overrated as some of the top Nigerian brands including Tiffany Amber, Jewel by Lisa, LDA, Iconic Invanity, Ituen Basi, Bridget Awosika, Mai Atafo and other emerging brands listed under LFDW Young Talents as well as British designer, Matthew Williamson will showcase their most creative pieces on the runway.
