Miss World 2001 Agbani Darego was on the cover of ThisDay Style this past Sunday. In the interview, Agbani spoke exclusively on the launch of her denim line “AD by Agbani Darego“, her evolution as women in her 30s and much more. BN gathered that AD by Agbani Darego will be “super affordable” but with great quality and style.
Agbani describes the line as ”a range of jeans, dresses and bags for the young modern woman who loves luxury, and loves to look good but want it all at an affordable price point”.

Lets see if it will be any different to the jeans they sell in Yaba, because we know how the Nigerian fashion industry prices its items. I knew this gal was re-launching herself to the 9ja scene. From total absence, to in your face everyday, plus that fantastic PR opportunity of hobnobbing and mingling with selective who’s who at her birthday party. Her marketing strategists, are working on full steam. Nigerians are now good enough to grace the attention of Miss Agbani. The modelling world in the US, has chewed you up and spit you out abi. Dont worry, you are still relevant here. Carry go. You’ll always be our Miss World, even if the rest of the world has long forgotten.
