The 2013 edition of the Lagos Polo Club’s annual President’s Cup turned out to be one of the most exciting tournaments at the Lagos Polo Club in recent times.
The event supported by Veuve Clicquot, was attended by polo connoisseurs as well as some of your favouirte socialites and celebrities including Studio 53 Extra co-host Eku Edewor, music acts Burna Boy, Temi Dollface and Black Magic as well as on-air-personality Olisa Adibua.
During the day session, a series of fiercely contested matches got players and supporters thrilled with delight. Later at night, BlackMagic and Burna Boy entertained all while design labels like Grey and House of Nwocha presented their collections.
Ok we admit, we would have loved to see all the female attendees in their couture hats and midi length dresses but we love how they opted for chic and colorful print and chiffon dresses, denims and jumpsuits while the men wore polo shirts, chequered shirts and shorts.

Yes, just shows that Nigeria is in deep trouble,inspite of all te man made disasters that are raveging the land,they have added champagne to it. What is even worth celebrating in Nigeria?.The dooms day is fast approaching folks.

there is a lot of people here commenting although they have never been to – or even dreamt of – attending a polo event in their lives. like all events there a different levels of dress. this one was obviously casul as it was relatively small event. but then again, none of you are plo club members so you wouldnt even get in……..
