      • Miss fab February 9, 2013 at 12:41 PM

I’m sorry for people like you. Keep hating, while she keeps going higher. People like you do worse things in your closet. Pot calling kettle black. #smh..remove all this filth from your mind and think of how to make something good out of your life!

        • Mimi February 9, 2013 at 8:07 PM

My question is, how exactly is she going higher? She’s pretty, yeah. She’s got money, yeah. But all her fame and “glory” came through the celebrity she got from less than appropriate means. It’s just that simple. I guess, you mean she’s going higher by getting more money? Oh…
I may not yet have the money of name she has, but I refuse to get them the ways she did. I want to properly earn and work harder than laying on my back and stomach moaning, faking a marriage, and being exploited by my mother to get any riches and celebrity

      • Lacy February 9, 2013 at 5:31 PM

      • Urban February 11, 2013 at 3:31 AM

        #GBAM.

Darey, let your show sell out because you are talented and because you have fans not because you are bringing a famous reality star.

    • K. February 9, 2013 at 11:30 AM

And if they find you the local person in place of Kim, people like you will still be the first to look down on the event! That is if you will even bother to want to attend it.

Dare is out for business and as a business oriented person myself I can perfectly understand where he is coming from. If Kim will draw in the crowd that will help rake in the cash for the concert then go for it! If e no please you, sit down for house jeje!! While he keeps smiling to the bank!! We are in business for profit not to please people

    • Faith February 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM

What really do we call achievement? We are just getting materialistic by the day in Nigeria. The actions of the individual doesn’t matter to us any more, just what they make. This is just a sign of the poverty of our minds. That’s why corruption will not go away easily in Nigeria. Don’t have a problem with Darey inviting Kim, it’s his show and I choose to go or not. When we talk about achievements, lets re-evaluate what we mean.

      • Big Ben February 9, 2013 at 3:46 PM

Thank you very very much, there is absolutely no sense of integrity in Nigerians of today…rather shameful, the primary defense to any criticism now is “xyz is making their money, what do you have?” as if money/notoriety cleanses one of wrongdoing…it is not an issue of who is holier, but let’s not turn a blind eye to wrong, yes those criticizing are not perfect but it doesn’t mean they cannot what is not right…if perfection is supposedly the ticket to criticism, then your parents/teachers/friends have no place correcting you because lord knows they are not perfect…just yesterday I read comments here on BN on the Hugo Boss store opening about not judging a book by its cover in reference to the first customer who spent N100k, it just highlighted how Nigerians perceive themselves and where they place the value of a person…we are rotting from the inside, and yes myself and others like me are not perfect, but we would not let it stop us from speaking out about wrong actions and actors.

        • chichi February 10, 2013 at 12:25 AM

@ faith and big ben. Thank you very much..two reasonable comments..we Nigerians definitely have issues…

        • Rachael February 10, 2013 at 3:51 AM

You want to know why some of us are saying that none of you is perfect is because Nigerians are the biggest hypocrites ever. When it comes to Nigeria there is so much double standard and sin categorization. One sin is seen as a small one and another is seen as a ginormous one. A lot of you guys writing have all kinds of crappy things you do in the closet or under anonymous but those don’t matter right, because it’s categorized a small sin or it’s nothing. However, someone with a sex tape and pregnant before marriage is seen as this huge sin. You guys have all kinds of things you do in the closet: you are the same ones that will come to BN under anonymous and call Toke, Susan Peters, and Tonto Dike all kinds of derogatory names (b*tch, c*nt, ugly being, fish head) and saying things like they would never make it in life, you are the same ones that lie, steal, bribe, curse out someone else, look at another woman lustfully even though you are married, flirt with your boss even when you have a husband, falsify documents so you can get promotion or travel to some other country, physically, emotionally and sexually abusing your wives, cheating on your husbands, sexually assaulting your kids, cheat in an exam, falsify your resume in other to land that job, they are the same ones calling for gays to be stoned to death or hung. But all those things you guys do in the closet are nothing or it’s a small sin and Kim Kardashian getting pregnant is a huge one. I could go on and on and on. Sin is sin. There is no small sin or big one. Just to digress a little bit, a couple of months ago there was an article on BN and LIB about gays trying to fight for their rights and I can remember vividly two comments that caught my eye by people that claimed to be Christians : “they deserve to be stoned to death” “ they should be hung”. I was pretty shocked because I am sure at one point in their lives they have sinned and no one stoned them for it. But all of a sudden they are all goody two shoes when it comes to someone being gay. Some of you that are acting all goody goody are the same set that come here on a daily basis and curse the life out of Tonto Dike, Toke Makinwa, Chika Ike and so many other people. All of a sudden they are acting like they are the holiest ones after God. When all you have done throughout the week is curse out one of his own and other crazy things you do in the closet that no one sees. I would have agreed with you if Nigerians treated all sins the same way but obviously no. Sin has been split into 2 categories: small one and big one. Let he that is without a sin cast a stone. Most of you are not any better. How about some of you working on removing that huge granite stone you have clogging your eyes before trying to remove a wooden splint from someone else’s eye.

        • Big Ben February 10, 2013 at 1:57 PM

@Rachael you obviously did not read my comment or you simply did not understand me, I won’t reiterate it, no where in my comment or Faith’s did we mention or refer to small/big sin, no where did we claim perfection, I particularly said irrespective of our flaws, we still have a valid responsibility to critique what we perceive as wrong regardless of who agrees or not. To take a stab at your closet hypocrites theory, the fact that those pple do their wrongs away from public eyes is proof enough that they know they are wrong, but at least they are not hawking their actions through the media to unassuming eyes…till they are made to face the consequences of their actions whichever form it may take.

        • Rachael February 10, 2013 at 3:14 PM

@ Big Ben Funny enough I actually read your comment and I think your comment was one of the best ones that made sense. I wasn’t trying to attack you or Faith. I apologize if it sounded that way. I am not even a fan of hers but I was only trying to illustrate why some of us were saying no one is perfect. The thing is what I inferred from some other peoples comment is that there are small sins that are forgivable and there others that are big, heinous and unforgivable. Also, I am pretty sure everyone of us including myself sinned in 2005 and also between 2005 and 2013; but God is not holding on or crucifying us for what we did in that period. Why are some of us crucifying her for what she did in the past (although it was done in the public eye) when each of us have our own past (it might not necessarily have been displayed in the public) that we wouldn’t want people reiterating to us every single time. It is the self righteousness and I ‘holy pass you’ attitude of Nigerians that sometimes pisses some of us. Isn’t it weird that Nigeria is one of the most religious country in the world and also one of the most corrupt nation with some of the most corrupt leaders in the world. The Oxymoron of life. God forgives all kinds and every form of sin. It would be nice if people stop holding on to other peoples past flaws and sins.

        • Tola February 11, 2013 at 9:15 AM

Neeh… not a Kim K fan.. she’s insanely gorgeous but I sure won’t want my kids around her. Why anyone admires this woman is beyond me… and please don’t say oh she’s a hard working female entrepreneur… I’ll laugh.

    • commenter February 9, 2013 at 4:51 PM

at least from all the various comments, i am now sure that kim k is really the most popular woman in the world (irrespective if the popularity is mostly negative) – if she dies today, the world tv stations and news channels will carry it – even the FT set….. look how many people want to go to the concert to see her… darey is certainly not stupid, he knows what heis doing…. he will make back double the money he spends paying her fromt he ticket sales – i don’t expect the tickets to be cheap….. even if kim k goes to uganda, people will still turn up to see her despite her having no intellectual talent… sooo everyone pls deal with it… btw i’m not a fan of kim k – she has found what sells – controversy, sex, beauty etc and she’s using it to the fullest potential – that what they teach people in business school the world over…

kim has brought her witchcraft to nigeria, watch de moment she leaves, sexual immorality will increase becos dats is watch she represents.sex tape by celebrity is a satanic softwares dat devil uses to initiate people into sexual bondage, the more people watch their sex tapes, the more popular they become and get buisness deals.

      • zsa zsa February 9, 2013 at 11:27 PM

Please have multiple seats. Kim will cause sexual immorality to “increase” in Nigeria?like we need any help in that area. or is it because no one is “filming” their own. Enough of the stupid self righteousness. I don’t care for kim but i don’t blame her for any misfortunes that befall the planet. No need praying against Kim, pray against your ever so corrupt leaders and masses. God has better things to do.

      • Asaa February 9, 2013 at 11:46 PM

U r so funny! So u think Nigerians don’t make sex tapes? Dont u hv sex? R u a vrgin? Ode! Leave her! She knows and has her selling point! What’s yours?

      • Taylor February 10, 2013 at 4:05 AM

Witchcraft you said: Nonsense and iranu. With all the churchy churchy things and vigil going on in Nigeria. Nigeria is still one of the most corrupt nation in the word, has some of the most corrupt leaders, bribing and corruption is like second nature in Nigeria, and tons and tons of Money Driven pastors. You are here ranting about witchcraft. How about praying for the inane leaders you elected instead of wasting your time focusing on some unknown witchcraft.

    • jaybaby February 9, 2013 at 7:55 PM

but in the name of jesus christ of nazeth, she will return back to america with her demons, nigeria is going tru a cleasing process and we refuse any further contamination in jesus name

Y are some of you talking nonsense. Respect others opinion abeg. Kim can be God to some people and not to others. Just cuz I don’t like d way she makes her money doesn’t make me a hater. Y should a slut like her be celebrated when hard working women are not.

    • sassycassie February 9, 2013 at 11:05 PM

And when she’s done hosting and collecting her millions, she will go on twitter and TV and talk about abut horrible Nigeria is … and we will huff and puff on twitter and blogs…and still keep inviting these people and still keep forking out tons of cash for them to ”’grace” us with their presence. When will Nigerians learn?!

      • lala February 10, 2013 at 2:20 AM

So Nigeria is no horrible? Even we Nigerians complain so what will stop her form saying the truth? Tell your government to fix our problems so no one will say anything horrible.

        Ok.

She was in Cote D’Ivoire last month and didn’t say anything bad.

    • HABBA February 10, 2013 at 12:04 AM

          Yeeeeeaaaah. She’s Armenian. That’s NOT Caucasian. :)

        • Taylor February 10, 2013 at 7:00 PM

@ Annie Yes she is Armenian and also a Caucasian. Just like you have a White American, Black American, and so on. “The term Caucasian race or Caucasian is used to refer to people whose ancestry can be traced back to Europe, West Asia, South Asia and parts of Central Asia. Armenia is on the crossroads between Eastern Europe and Western Asia.

      • Bee February 10, 2013 at 11:07 AM

get a life she made a sex tape in 2005….. eight years ago, do people still crucify u for d sins you committed in 2005?????

        • nekiss February 15, 2013 at 2:32 PM

She has not repented na, that’s why people are talking. I am surprised that all of you are supporting her way of life, but you all come here to criticize some Nigerians for a mere speaking of “phonee” or frequently going to parties. See all her defenders, because she is not one of your own, she is now a saint and anybody that dares to criticize her would be termed a hypocrite. Abeg you all should go and sit down, i just feel so bad reading all these comments.

      • Omo1 February 14, 2013 at 12:42 PM

The way people use words eh! HABBA do you know what a hag is?? Abeg make your research well before posting a comment!

Sighs* Even in your hatred, you celebrate her…I wish everybody the best in all they do. PS:

*Contempt is a weapon of the weak and a defense against one’s own despised and unwanted feelings

Cheio! see comments all because Kim is coming to co host in Naija!..There will always be haters, criticizers, and what have you! but the truth is, I rank all celebrities in the same way, (at least most of them) both home and abroad..we are accusing kim of getting pregnant and doing all sorts of things to get the papers rolling in.

The babe has her own clothing line and runs a reality show among other appearances she makes as part of her own business venture..some people comparing the likes of Adele..well Adele had a child out of wedlock! My point here: No one is a a saint! I am a KK fan and I am not sorry about that, but most people hating, cursing and blurting out all sorts of things, I bet are the types that secretly crave to be or be with the likes of Kim. I do not applaud anybody for their material achievement or status..but the babe is using her brain, at least to an advantage.

In the same vane we have a bunch of our own Nigerian celebrities , even the much coveted ones that I believe if you here there stories you will gape in disbelief . Now everyone is opening mouth because Kim has her story all out in the open…abeg! “He without sin let him cast the first stone”
