Nigerian star actress Stephanie Linus is lending her voice to a great programme – The Queen’s Young Awards Scheme!
In honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s 60-year contribution to the Commonwealth, each year from 2014 – 2018, 60 exceptional people aged 18-29 will be selected to receive an award for leading the way where they live and become a ‘Queen’s Young Leader’
Exceptional people aged 18-29 who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives are invited to apply for a Queen’s Young Leaders Award, in honour of Her Majesty The Queen.
The Award winners will receive a unique package of training, mentoring and networking, including a one-week residential programme in the UK during which they will collect their Award from Her Majesty The Queen. This will support winners to develop the amazing work they are already doing in their communities.
The closing date for this year’s applications is 11th October 2014 at 06.00 GMT.
