Catch All the Festive Fun! Your Kids Can Meet Dora the Explorer & SpongeBob + Donate Toys at this Year’s Nickelodeon #NickMas

Nickelodeon (DStv Channel 305), Multichoice Nigeria and Silverbird Galleria are bringing great joy to Nigerian kids and families this Christmas with a host of merry ho-ho-ho-holiday activities designed to bring smiles to the faces of the young and Festive!

The fun celebrations start with the Nickelodeon Gift-a-thon – a toy donation drive with UNICEF for disadvantaged children. The drive will ask Lagos school children to donate gifts for children aged 5-10. The gifts will be going to children at the Child to Child Network and Child Lifeline; the 5 schools that donate the most gifts will receive a special visit to their school from Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.

Meanwhile, Nickelodeon’s elves have been busy putting up a giant Christmas tree outside the Silverbird Galleria. The sparkling 10-metre fig tree, decked out with decorations inspired by Nickelodeon’s TV characters, was unveiled by Mo Cheddah and will remain in place until 10th January 2015.

Inside the Silverbird Galleria, sleigh bells will be ringing as a host of daily festive activities take place in the grotto around the tree from Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th December, including appearances by Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants. Children who donate a gift at the grotto will receive a special gift from Nickelodeon and Multichoice.
