Design Talent on the Rise – Akpos Okudu Collection Debuts

Akpos Okudu is a promising young designer based in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The self-described Ijaw Girl is currently a University of Port-Harcourt undergraduate but has a genuine drive and passion for fashion. The first collection from her eponymous fashion label is driven by colourful, soft and feminine dresses inspired by different cultures, art & nature. According to Akpos, ‘I design clothes for women who want to be elegant and confident without losing their soft and feminine side. I generally want to make clothes that are comfortable when worn in everyday life and are at the same time fashionable’.

This collection has commercial appeal and Akpos definitely has tons of potential. She is one to watch out for! akpos-okudu-bella-naija_001akpos-okudu-bella-naija_008akpos-okudu-bella-naija_012akpos-okudu-bella-naija_022akpos-okudu-bella-naija_027akpos-okudu-bella-naija_036akpos-okudu-bella-naija_053akpos-okudu-bella-naija_071akpos-okudu-bella-naija_064
