BN Celebrity Weddings: Emeka Okonkwo & Juliet Uzondu Wed

Bet you are wondering who Emeka Okonkwo is. While not technically a ‘celebrity’, Emeka  (or Emmy as he popularly known) is immersed in the Nigerian music and Nollywood social scene thanks to his brother KC who is a member of the musical group – KC Presh. Celebrities on the wedding train included Ruggedman, Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedizie (Aki & Paw Paw), Iyanya and KC Presh. Guests included Mike Ezuruonye, P-Square, Chidi Mokeme, 2Shotz, J Martins and Julius Agwu. The couple met a few years ago and dated for a while Emmy proposed to Juliet earlier this year in a unique way – with a car. He handed her the car keys and asked her to be his wife. Very unique! The venue was the Civic Centre and wedding colours were pink and white. There was also an aquatic theme with a boat-shaped wedding cake as the groom is involved in the maritime industry. We love how the wedding is a depiction of the couple’s style and interests. Wishing them a happy marriage!
