BN Wedding Glam: The Sike Idowu & Yusuf Saro Wedding
We totally love weddings on Bella Naija, that is why we created our various wedding features including BN Wedding Glam, BN Celebrity Weddings and many new features which will debut soon.
In previous editions of BN Wedding Glam, we have focused on the traditional wedding/engagement. However, we realize that the main wedding is always a festive occasion which can compete with any red carpet.
So we have decided to expand BN Wedding Glam to include the main wedding/reception!
Here is the first edition from the beautiful wedding reception of Sike Idowu & Yusuf Saro.
The trends on show included bright coloured dresses paired with nude heels. Blue was an exceptionally popular colour as well. All guests were beautifully garbed and this made for a stunning wedding party. Check out the photos below.

Sister of the bride, Lisa Folawiyo looks stunning in her iridescent green dress with the ruched front and unique back detail

Bright jewel tones ensure that guests stand out in style at weddings. These ladies do it just right!

Rich royal blue was another popular colour at the wedding. In silk, chiffon - long and short, simply gorgeous
Where is the couple? BN Wedding Glam is a feature from Bella Naija Weddings focused solely on the wedding guests. If and when we decide to feature the couple, it will be in a separate post solely dedicated to them and their beautiful union.

Well if you took the time to read then you would see that this feature is exclusively about the guests at the wedding. The wedding was already featured- this is a sub-feature.
Reading should be a *no-brainer*.

nIIICE…
but…
When will Nigerians get it that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should u wear white/creame to anyone’s wedding..It’s just plain WRONG… The bride should be the only one wearing white.. Im pretty sure y’all have other colors in your closet..I’ll be damned if anyone shows up to my wedding wearing white..I’ll personally escort the person OUT…

bella has really been stepping it up. love how you are now arranging the guest based on colors and similarities in patters or the type of outfit they’re wearing. its a lot more easy on the eyes.
overall, fabulous.

I’m not trying to criticize these women for wearing white or ivory k, coz seriously they look lovely. However, despite there being no established decree about not wearing white or ivory to someone elses wedding its simple descency. The bride is supposed to stand out of the crowd of women so how the heck does she get her attention if numerous women are wearing white dresses? There are different designs of wedding dresses- some short some long. Can you just imagine what would happen if the bride decides to be different and wears a short dress while a guest does the same. Pple need to understand that there is also nothing wrong with giving the bride her spotlight for her day.

I completely agree! It is known intrinsic rule that you DO NOT wear white/ivory/cream to a wedding! I too will have my guards escort you out if you try that nonsense at my wedding.

Thos of you complaining about wearing white to wedding, if your point is about standing out, why no then ban other colours, like the metallic ones featured….abi when did white start standing out more than those shades of colour.
I’m sure if the guests wore white iro and buba, u won’t have any issues with that. Plus last time i checked, most wedding gowns r cream or ivory, white is sooooooooooooooo out!
All u people getting all these ideas from foreign movies and importing it here….enuff o!
as long as you are not wearing a white/cream/ivory wedding dress at my wedding, then there’s no fashion police on your tail

Who cares if somebody is wearing white or whatever color! On your wedding day,
everybody will be looking at you and only you that it doesn’t matter what anybody
else is wearing!!!!

The lady in the 2nd “metallic” picture is so wrong. Someone should teach her how to dress for her shape and size.
