Nice tribute brought tears to my eyes, thats just to say if you are good and stand out at what you don, even if you only do it for a shortwhile you will be recognised. who ccan ever believe Dagrin, upcoming, local, young boy but greatly talented and Nigeria own Wizzy is so respected and love this way?
But I have a problem with Nigerians, the PMAN and all this artiste…Where were they when he was lying on a sick bed with little or no medical attention,at first I was blaming his management team but later got to realised they were handicapped with no money even in his accout.
Now they all converge for His industry nite and even sang a tribute for him, home boy was even buried in a nice casket that I am sure would have been paid for by someone…but it would have been nicer if a young man,one of the best rapper Naija ever produced,a joy to his family and a nation was kept alive by there act of phillantropist .Either by footing his medical bills or Donations so he can get the best medical treatment and his voice and lyrics still vibrating on our Radio. where was Don Jazzy, Kennis music,Julius Agwu and co? But they were all at his Industry nite.
And Nigerians still keep dreaming of winning Grammy’s? this is how will kill our Grammy winners daily just the same way our attitude of selfishness killed our would have been Good presidents, Entrepreneurs e.t.c… Lets change the attitude of oppression with money to helping the less priviledge.
DA GRIN!!! Respect till I die… you changed the game ,hope your death will change our thinking.

RIP Da Grin! It’s still hurts so bad. Jst like B!cious wrote, Nigerians, Musicians and other bodies should learn to lend a helping hand to ppl in need esp wen d situation is life threatenin. Da Grin could av survived the accident if dt wuz done…
Nywayz Well done to all dt did dz tribute…Rily touchin. Let’s kip our stars!

Totaly love Eldee’s flow ”…way ahead of the game, proud of what you became”…sweet!, Omawunmi sounded good but a lot like Rhianna and doesn’t show originality to me…KSB and Waje were aight too. Where were the others like M.I, Tuface, Mohits?
But then it’s a breath of fresh air to see the less familiar faces

Wow this really touched me! DaGrin was such a good looking young man and certainly left wayyyy too soon. Just too many young folks dying everywhere these days, and it’s always the promising young ones 🙁
I’m going to use this opportunity to also remember Tobi Oyedeji who also died from injuries sustained in a terrifying car accident on May 16th. Just like DaGrin he was a very promising, focused young man.
You are both sorely missed by many. RIP

I wasn’t really a huge fan and I was more of amused than captivated by his music.
But this tribute is really nice, I have to admit. I love Eldee, Omawumi and Banky W’s parts best.
Good job to the music industry for one of their own.
