12 Finalists for Elite Model Look Nigeria 2010 announced at Media Event
On the 18th of July 2010, Beth Modelling Agency – The organizers of the Elite Model Look contest in Nigeria held a media event to announce the 12 finalists of the Elite Model Search Nigeria 2010 contest. After a rigorous casting session that saw aspiring models from all over the country enter for their chance to attain supermodel status, 12 girls were chosen as Elite Model Look Nigeria 2010 finalists. They are Abiola Adeyemi, Nwando Ebeledike, Oluwakemi Faleye, Marvis Offor, Bukola Eyinade, Oghogho Obrutse, Chioma Nzenwa, Chika Emmanuel, Delphine Okobah, Onyechi Anita Chialuka, Beauty Osenwegie and Isioma Usama.
The event was also an opportunity for the press to meet the sponsors of the event – Mercedes Benz was represented by Mirko Plath while Funke Olufon represented Quintessentially. BellaNaija.com, the official media partner of the event was represented by Jite Ovueraye of BainStone.
Through the years, the Elite Model Look International contest has offered aspiring models a chance to start a career in international modeling at the highest level. In September, selected contestants will participate in a “model boot camp” for a week of intensive grooming. This training will cover all the professional aspects of modeling. The grooming exercise will have the 12 finalists experience and undergo fitness training, makeovers, nutrition lectures, professional photo sessions and rehearsals for the finale. There are plans to film the bootcamp for a TV special.
The Elite Model Look Nigeria Finale will take place on the 12th of September 2010 at the Civic Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. One winner will be chosen and she will go on to represent Nigeria in the Elite Model Look International contest scheduled to hold in Shanghai, China on the 10th of October 2010.
The Elite Model Look International finale will be broadcast in over 80 countries and will feature over 80 Contestants chosen via their respective country contests.
The winner will receive an international modeling contract with Elite Model Management – New York.
Below is a photo of the finalists as well as photos of guests at the event. BN will bring you a more detailed feature on the 12 finalists soon.

Judith, Femi Ahmed’s top is a plain yellow cowl neck top…i am sure you can get similar tops anywhere . H&M, Bebe, Zaras, Banana etc Now Akunna Nwala’s top is worth asking…tthat’s a cute one. good job to Elohor..she did an amazing work and she is glowing with her baby bump 🙂
The models look good too. fabulous

Nice event; like Elohor…very industrious woman. Okay lets start with the juice
Aisha Shaba- very hot, see legs!
Chinkata- she always looks terribly sketchy. I’m sure she’ll try to explain away that skirt with some “quirky yet fresh, edgy yet wearable” glamour magazine comment. But it looks like it was designed by a carpenter.
Avi of Temple Muse- I thought this guy had an “upscale luxury clothes store”. What’s with these cheap looking clothes? He needs a stylist sharpish! As in what’s the story behind those shoes?
Freda looks hot.
I love Tari but she looks like she’s about to parachute, helped by those ridiculous pants, into a hippie convention.
And who is this Jecintha Powell wey resemble Renee Zellweger? People that couldn’t make it in America have started flocking to Naija oh. Both Jamo, Naija, Afro – American . Ah ah, everybody has started coming to Lagos to do celebrity.

There are some mean spirited ladies who come to these picture laden posts. Haba!
The anonymity of internet is a great enabler!
Anyways, there was no foolywang material here. All the ladies looked good.

Elohor is so cute, love her dimples

Why are people so quick to point out that someone’s bag is fake. Is it your money? If they are perpetrating that is their own issue… deal with yours. You might not like someone’s look but that does not mean you should be malicious.

These insults about fake bags are getting too much.
Right now OASIS is selling a bag that looks like a Birkin. If i bought d bag and rocked it BN pple would say its fake when its actually a make just not a Birkin. Pauls Boutique also makes something that remotely looks like the LV Alma, if u buy it and rock it they would say its a fake alma.
abeg u peeps should bring ur heads outta d cloud and realise that not all bags that look like luxury bags are fake, they are just designs that look like them made by other retailers.
