Each vendor would have their dedicated space to display their products or services throughout the day. The pre-determined floor plan will ensure a strategic flow where each vendor’s goods are seen.

Fashion Show
Other than the regular market, LPM will be hosting a fashion show featuring 12 Young Nigerian Designers themed “The Style / Buy Nigeria Edition”. The LPM fashion show will create an avenue for Fashion Designers to showcase their latest collection on LPM’s runway to potential clients and members of the press. Providing them with the opportunity to capture and captivate a new audience and also introduce or highlight their collection. LPM is teaming up with the fabulous Make-up artist Lola Maja (CEO Sacred Lashes) and her team along with MUD Cosmetics and B Natural Spa to provide products and services required to ensure each designer’s vision is achieved. LPM’s resident stylist Bolaji Animashaun will also be available for any consultation services on styling needed by each designer.

LPM Documentary
These 12 designers will be the main feature of our documentary that will follow everything from the model casting, to viewing their collections, fittings, all preparations before the day and finally the actual fashion show. This is aimed to promote each designer and their collection as well as giving an insight to what goes on behind the scenes. 12 Designers, 1 Runway, 1 Market, 1 Movement.

LPM VIP Goodie bags
LPM will be giving our VIP guests a goodie bag with a fantastic selection of gifts from LPM vendors as well as an early bird preview of all the items on sale by the vendors and the chance to grab them before the general public. Each VIP will get front row seats to the fashion show. LPM will promote each item in the package, highlighting each vendor in all our media and PR campaigns. To be on our VIP list, please indicate by sending us an email to [email protected] for more information. These will be the HOTTEST VIP goodie bags so grab them while they’re still hot.

This pics just let u know how pple really come to the BN site….after all the yapping about over dressing…this LPM was total dress down……lol!!!! as in i am sooooo impressed that the comments are taken seriously….but i cant help laffing tho’ really……pple really do care wat others think about them (even though we are all perfect strangers…er…most of us anyways….lol!)

    • Ready

      December 9, 2010 at 10:44 am

I was thinking majority of what you wrote. More people are dressed down and more of them are carrying shopping bags from the event. It also seems like those who can’t do either did not appear ’cause I didn’t see as many of the names from the last event.
It tells me something really, I’ll always constructively criticize and commend people on here seeing as they’re affected by what we write. Now if only our “celebs” would take note…*cough Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Rukky Sanda, etc*.

      December 9, 2010 at 6:09 pm

      nice one!!!!

    • THE AMAKA

      December 9, 2010 at 12:30 pm

i don’t even think this is the type of event where ANYONE should be overdressed. this sort of event is only semi-formal/casual.
no need to look like you’re gonna step onto the red carpet…when this is clearly NOT one.

    • nerfetiti

      December 9, 2010 at 2:34 pm

Thing is, I was at this event in a tshirt and jeans, no biggie. however, if someone wants to come in a haute couture Dior dress and Louboutins and $50,000-cascading coils-argentinian-eskimo hair, please by all means do. we should all learn to live and let live and stop judging. Just because it’s not something you would normally do doesnt give anyone the right to put others down. as in really…….. that’s my own 2 cents. #okbye

    • THE AMAKA

      December 9, 2010 at 3:14 pm

      @nefetiti
i dont have a problem with anyone “over dressing” but i just think this event isnt for all of that.
im not gonna lose my head over it, but these type of events seem semi-formal.
so if people “dressed down” i dont see the issue.
      its whatever though.
      #blah

I agree with Amaka on this one. Some people look like they took extra extra extra time to get ready. This is supposed to be a super casual thing…. :/

      December 9, 2010 at 5:58 pm

YEa, but if that’s what they want to do then let them do! What is your concern?? Is it your time, clothes, jewelry and hair they are using to dress up? If no, then live and let live. Keep it moving.
      Thanks xxx

    • Love to Dress up!

i dont get some people o! if u want to show up in ur peejays and slippers pls go ahead, if the next person wants to turn up in iro and buba, fine, if i want to show up in my wedding dress, nobodys business! if anybody changed how they dressed from reading posts here then theyhave a serious case of inferiority comoplex and the over sabi Anna Wintour trained fashion stylists should keep their opinions to themselves, this type of behaviour is part of the problems we have in Nigeria, with the youth easily influenced by others, have a frigging mind of ur own! and stop spewing ur illiteracy here! Every month, we publish here on bellanaija, the names of each vendor that will participate in the next market along with a short bio of who they are and what they will be selling on the day. Perhaps you follow the link to one of our previous posts to get more details of any vendor that is of interest to you

Better still, email us : [email protected] for more information

We are fully in support of pst market sales

That’s true. Just hoped as some of the pics of the merchandise was shown we could associate the names of the sellers with pictures of the merchandise they bring to the market. LOL some day when I’m nigeria when the market is actually happening, i need to get some of the clutches. Serious Clutch Envy going on.

    • Fly

      December 10, 2010 at 9:06 am

why????so that you can put a price tag on each bag you see someone carry???…is that how myopic Africans have become???when they put of pics of Foreigners on the internet carrying their shopping bags in the stores do you see the prices splashed on there for you to gaze at???SMH!

Egbami! I need to seriously step up my game oh. Naijas can dress! Even when the memo says ‘Casual chic’, they still find a way to look over fab. I got distracted from the items on sale and was solely focussing on the people and their outfits. Even the men are doing colour coordination. Nawa o. Naijas are not smiling when it comes to fashion. Really nice!

Nigerians are beautiful people, love it. How come people on the Island always look way better than those on the mainland in Lagos?

    • Guessing

      December 10, 2010 at 5:49 am

Because people on the Island are probably well to do folks while those on the mainland are probably sufferhead?

    • diva

      December 10, 2010 at 6:03 am

because people who live on the Island are more well to do(richer) than people who live on the mainland.

      December 12, 2010 at 11:04 pm

Why dont you come to GRA Ikeja and see how we live before you start making ridiculous comments about mainlanders. Sometimes I really wonder about what goes on in some people’s brains before they speak.

Anyway jare, check out this website to get a better look at the actual products and items on display at the LPM- http://www.360nobs.com/2010/12/360nobs-fashion-goes-to-lpm/

Why is this Island vs Mainland thing an issue. Are you sure everyone at this event lives on the island?I can point you out to people in this picture who dont live on the island. There is a mix of rich, middle class and poor people on both axis(island & mainland).Pls educate your self, free your mind and stop this retarded crap.

@mary 007 n co:there are a lot of rich pple that live on the mainland, it’s just that there are more hangouts on the island, hence younger upwardly mobile pple gravitate more towards the island. i actually don’t blame you for making such a – statement, you obviously have no clue what the typical Nigerian goes through.
But you have made a point…and i think it’s only fair that we explain it to you. THERE ARE MORE EXPENSIVE HANGOUTS ON THE ISLAND,HENCE YOUNGER UPWARDLY MOBILE PPLE GRAVITATE TOWARDS THE ISLAND. Hope the caps helps yor brain process that lil bit of info. By the way, lovely layout Bella, for those of us[me to be specific] who r clueless about casual chic, this is a great pointer for me. Please post more of this.
