New Video: Ice Prince feat. Brymo – Oleku

It was arguably THE song of 2010!
Ice Prince Zamani lived up to the hype and delivered a smash hit – “Oleku“.
The video for this song leaked a few weeks ago and then we got word from Ice Prince’s label Chocolate City that the leaked version was a “unfinished” version.
Now we have the “official” version of the video straight from CC. Check out Ice Prince featuring Brymo – “Oleku” – the video.

The reason people were displeased with THIS video and why there was such a rukus on twitter yesterday when it was released is cause ChocCity made a BIG DEAL of claiming the first vid was a ‘leak’…when infact, this ‘official’ version is exact same thing save for minor tweeks. don’t overhype ur abilities (as MANY naija artists do) cause then u live PLENTY room for disappointment!
they should have just saved their money and stoop up for the last vid like they are doin for this one. Overall, the vid has elements that are nice. but its just there. The song would have been ‘legendary’ without the controversy of a ‘just-ok’ vid. And please ppl…its 2011…saying ‘go and make ur own video’ or calling everyone dat doesnt gush at a celeb’s work a ‘hater’ is just not an intelligent response. #justsaying.

Thank you jare, better person. All this hating, hater, hate is soooooooo freaking annoying. This crowd mentality thingy is getting old. So I cannot say I don’t like a video without being called a hater? Naija peeps sef!

    February 18, 2011 at 2:31 am

“hate hater hating”, you people should please get a bigger vocabulary!

Why is it that if people don’t like something they are automatically hating??? What would the world be like if we liked EVERYTHING we saw!! Abeg stop stereotyping ALL nigerians as bad belle. Thank u.

    February 23, 2011 at 2:50 pm

This song deserved better. Why can’t Nigerians think beyond “hot girl-bling-hot girl ” when it comes to making videos? A more reflective but cool video would have worked better. I still love the song forever though!

P.S. The girls were not even hot in this case!

Arguably the best song of 2010 is an understatement,This was the hottest tract to come outta naija in 2010,The video itself is on point, not extraordinary but just on point. I guess the song kinna killed d whole idea of even shooting a video(d song was way too big).Overall tho,its an ok video to accompany a seriously heavy track.Looks like they got the balance right
