It’s quite sad to see Nigerian youths inheriting this yeye habit of celebrating mediocrity from our parents.
One is worried for the future when people have nothing better to do with their time than to organise such inane awards.

    It’s really sad.

Yet another Award. iRep for Social Media in Nigeria and this list aint genuine. Do you guys know about Klout Score? Google it. It will save us all a lot of stress. At least with that we can know who the Real Influencers are. And just so you know WildFusion aint what they say they are. They claim to represent facebook in Nigeria, the same way the a Minister credited Mr President for bringing facebook to Nigeria. Just ask facebook

Best use of Twitter for Eldee? Its not about Number/frequency of Tweets. Its about Engagement. Why talk (Tweet) when no one is listening. The Award rigthly belongs to TosynBucknor. She has an engaged followership. Thats how we measure in Social Media. Engagement. Not just Tweets.

Best Ad Campaign to The Experience? First all, what kind of Category is that. Secondly, how do you know if an Ad Campaign is the best. You dont have the back end analytics to measure the Click Through Rate (CTR). Ask any certified Google Adword Analyst the world over, they’ll tell you thats the Only way to measure Ad Campaign effectiveness.

Best use of Facebook to Samsung? I monitored the Samsung campaign from start till now. The page only grew when they launched their Samsung App challenge campaign. Call that engagement marketing. A good campaign should be able to run Auto. Just with normal/regular interaction apps. Checkout GTBank, Ariel, Always thats what Social Media Marketing should look like. Samsung its great though. But its not the best.

You are not, you cant and you wont be in a position to reward facebook and Twitter. To start with before you can reward my comments as the best, then you would have compared it to others. Who did you compare Facebook & Twitter to?

Adeola kayode is not even averagely active on Facebook and twitter, so the hell is he the top influencer. Some of us had follow Social Media in Nigeria for three Years now, and the Award should have gone to TosynBucknor. She wild on Facebook (launch and executed alot of event via facebook), she’s the First Nigerian in Nigeria to launch her private SocialNetwork Site on Ning.com etc etc she even has several active Twitter Accounts.

And I strongly believe Nmachi should have won bets Advocacy not personality. Did you guys even research at all. She started the entire cp-africa.com from zero to what it is now on Social Media, she’s on her fourth user interface now, with no ATL support. Gbenga started via ATL first.

Am pissed you guys just rushed into this award without researching.

iRep for Social Media in Nigeria, and this aint it.
